Penelope busied herself with packing everything away. She tried to remain focused on the simple task and didn’t even notice Hartley had left the room until Crow spoke. She was putting the blankets back up on the rack when she froze as he began to talk about the night before. For a brief moment, she worried that he might not have been fully asleep when she had stayed in his arms. The thought that he might call her out on that made her tense up. The knight gulped and then relaxed slightly as he went on to apologize. She took a deep breath and met his gaze. “I-It’s ok Crow. You were drunk and not thinking clearly.” Penelope said before turning away to focus back on her work. It was still a bit difficult to put the night out of her mind but hearing him assure her it was just the ale did help. On the other hand though, she couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed. Part of her wanted to believe some of things he said last night were true but that was just her being ridiculous. Why would he be attracted to her, she was a knight after all. “I wasn’t mad at you or anything.... I..It-It just felt a little awkward this morning..” She said, trying to explain herself. She finished packing up the beds and turned back to Crow. “Sorry I made you worry about that... I was honestly hoping you wouldn’t remember.” She said with a small sigh.
