Day 1 Location - The Park
Character Reference(s) - [@Rodiak], [@GingerBoi123] The pangs of pain within his head were getting worse with each passing moment. It gnawed at his being, and his grip around Sento's koshirae tightened. His eyes trailed the woman's body but, with him now having more insight, he found himself looking up at a figured cloud up just behind her. It was trying to impose it's will within her.
"It's okay; it'll be fine." "It's fine. He's not a demon." "He's my friend, my protector. He doesn't want you to hurt me." "The pain is gone now. It's just Him around me now."
A loud shriek of dragging metal echoed throughout the park and likely even rumbled down the streets. Water droplets slowly began to drop from the sky around the park, signalling a drizzle before rain. It bounced against Dejinkken's ears. Closer... The ghastly voice whispered, sending chills down the boy's spine. He didn't recognize this voice, but he was trained to recognize the external sound prior. The metal...it was at a distance now but the fact that he could only hear the voice from within, told him that it was approaching. His weapon was drawn from over his shoulder. With two hands on the koshirae, he aimed the bladed edge of the weapon upward to the offending Demon. It wasn't him that Deji was afraid of, but rather for the life of the human with whom he was in the presence of. He heard what she said, but these were not her words. These words were what the shadows were telling her. The demon believed him to be a fool, and that it could delude him through her voice. No, demons did not have the privilege to act as Guardians for humans. Deceit, the only way that demons knew. It made the boy sick to his stomach but he held his ground. Another shriek pulsed and he felt pain in his heart. It is near! Danger! Sento warned him, and he took a step backward. There was too much being condensed in one area. What was happening? The Giver did not send him here to fight straight away. No...he just....ahhh... Dejinkken just had to think. Unfinished business...this girl? It couldn't be to kill her...no, not that. Sento's blade glistened with light from the sun. Rain fell subtly around it, causing the abnormality of rain with the sun still shining. He didn't like this. Deji knew Him was coming. Teacher said to always avoid Him. Never let Him draw near. Though, because of that he needed to get the demon away from the human promptly. He raised the lightened sword and--
"Hey!"
Another voice, another presence, though, also external. It stopped him from completing the action and thr light slightly dimmed. He shifted his stance to one identical to the Japanese Ko Gasumi. Yet even another approached, a man. But, he had hair similar to Deji's own in color. He hadn't seen that before...it was strange. His heart thrashed against his chest upon another metallic shriek, shaking his stance. More darkness was enveloping the area nearer to him. Though something caught his eye. An amulet that the man held and tossed his way. The shrieking became more and more frequent.
"You know what this is?"
When it was tossed through the air to him a voice called out of it as though distant yet longingly. "Kenny?" The womanly voice asked out loud for the ones nearest to hear. Dejinkken froze, and just in that moment, a gigantic blade was descending from above. Behind Deji stood an seven-foot tall being, a Pyramid like helmet resting atop it's body. The swing downward upon the much smaller male from behind looked as though it were certain death. Yet, at the last split second, Dejinkken's body vanished in what could be percieved as being similar to a lens flare. The Pyramid's blade came down to the ground, but without the boy there, the impact made its form shatter like glass and dissipate into nothingness...

Day 1 Location - The Beach|Monastic Dojo
Character Reference(s) -[@LazerSyrup] If the little one could be found nowhere else in this giant place, then, it'd be in the place where the food was. Cupboards were standing open, several broken dishes were on the floor, apple cores and banana peels were just all over the place. Though, in the middle of the relatively small room, was a mere stool, completely untouched amidst all the chaos. On it, was a small orange monkey adorned in a crown, chewing on a pineapple that was really the same size as the little creature itself. Diminutive chattering filled the room in little Sunny's determination to get to the sweeter insides of the fruit. His tail wiggled, but shot out in surprise when the door was thrown open. Caught! Sunny's eyes jumped to the door, guilty with little his hands and feet clutching the tropical treat. Almond eyes blinked over at the dragon before realizing who it was. The little one gasped in excitement. She could open this! "Loo-dee!!" He cried, lifting the pineapple over his head and hopping off the stool to bring it to her. He hopped up and down to try handing it to her to open it. It was clear from several bite marks at the top leaves that he had been working on it for some time already and that, despite having the brute strength to tear it open, he was having some issues figuring it out.
