You're aware of what in regards to freeform combat? Not sure I completely understand the second sentence

I understand the first sentence though lol. I'm alright with you enacting your own plans to assist with the escape. This gives [@Fetzen]'s character a chance to meet up with yours. So it might not be a bad idea.

[@HokumPocus]'s character could use illusions of us to assist in distracting the cultfrom the real you, and if someone else wants to split off with you that could increase your chances of success. [@Elevation] Is this something your character would like to help with? He seems like someone who wouldn't be opposed to a little action. 

However even with illusions, the plan is risky and would put the Innkeeper's family in danger. So assuming protecting the family is a priority for our characters, we may want another means of escape for them. AKA, the roof tops.

In any case let me give you a heads up of things to be mindful of when fighting through the mob.

Tree woman is not hands on unless she needs to be. Most Sightless are like that. That said, she's not push over. If you attempt to attack her out in the open, her minions will converge on you after you. That means dealing with magic users and cultists who have Magic deterrents. They maybe aren't the most skill combatants, but they have numbers.

If we toss illusions into the mix. That will take most of the Cultist's attention off up until the point the illusions disappear. Lumen Vocasion Illusions last 2 - 5 mins depending on the quality of the glass's opaqueness. Keep in mind Tree woman will see through the illusions because they are made of light. 

If we split off into two groups, one on the ground and the other group on the roofs, Tree woman will be forced into action since she A) can reach the roof tops with her abilities, and B)The illusions will have fooled everyone but her.

Last thing to be mindful of, she doesn't know what you look like. Sightless dim the light around them. This helps them know what's near them. So once you get in range of attack, will become aware of what you look like and it will become more difficult to hide.
