I've never played any of their f2p titles so I'm not really commenting on that, but yeah god forbid a company try to [i]monetise something that already costs money[/i]. Games shouldn't reward people for dumping money in them, they should reward the people that actually play the game. They should reward the people that actually would've gone for the 40-hour fucking grind that most BF2 heroes required pre-patch. Day One DLC was bad enough, but it's a fucking walk in the park compared to this new trend.
