The beast gazed out at the world with a featureless face, warped together from parts of an old hatchback, and took in the streets of San Francisco. [b]“I know it must be hard, going from a car to a bloodthirsty murder-bot, in the space of a few seconds, but you really need to take a cue from your past life, and give this whole rampage thing a…” [/b] Elise came hurtling through the air, catching the car-robot off guard, and plunging her atomic axe straight through it. Nuclear powered reaved straight through rusted metal, like a knife through butter, and the automaton buckled, and warped, crashing to the ground, it’s crooked body crumbling into twisted metal pieces. [b]“A break.” [/b] The Persuader giggle-snorted at her own wit, before patching herself into the Titan’s communication network. [b] “Kimble here. Sorry I missed the meet and greet, but-” [/b] Elise turned, mid-sentence, just as three more of the mechanized monstrosities came hurtling in to view; this trio looking a great deal more capable than the hatchback horror. [b]“Oh, motherfucker…”[/b] Elise groaned [b]“I’ll call you back.” [/b] Reaching into her jacket pocket, Elise fished out a pair of wireless earbuds, and popped them in.
