This was not something he wished to discuss in front of her it seemed. The woman looked completely out of touch. Reaching over her placed a comforting hand on her shoulder before his attention went back to the Lord Major. "Mmm, I can go to supply with you before you leave mmmm," he said as he pulled his hand away from the woman. Vera's eyes came up slowly and she swallowed, she didn't know why George didn't answer but she was glad he didn't. If they had only needed a small box it would mean that the remains were damaged, that the body wasn't whole, or something else. She might not have been a doctor but she had been working with the corpses of the dead, long dead, so very long dead, so she had a good idea of what size box was needed to transport the dead from one location to the other. The kitty meowed to Lauren, rubbing up against her leg and leaning into the scratch. Seemed the cat wasn't going to go away but from the looks of things there was no one around that was looking for the feline. It didn't have a collar but looking closer at the kitties fur the colors were similar to ones seen in recent dreams and there was what looked to be a marking in the fur. It was distorted but one could make out that it looked very similar to a certain symbol that was branded into some friends of the group. The streets were bustling, people moving this way and that. Yet it was moving being a little slower than normal. It was probably because of the smell of smoke in the air which seemed to cover the city. Even though they were close to the Nile there was not a lot of wind about to clear it out and so it lingered, moving slowly, and even coming into the barracks and the rooms since the windows were open. Vera found herself sniffle at the smell. Putting an easy two and two together that it had to be from the fire that Peter died in. Akhmed sighed as he heard about Peter. He didn't know the man but it was obvious that it was affecting Vera in a bad way. Looking over towards Josephine he nodded and gave his condolences. Vera looked up at Josephine and her bottom lip trembled. "Mmm, could you stay with her? I will go with Lord Major, mmm," he suggested. Perhaps it would be best this way. Vera seemed to be responding something to Josephines presence and he didn't want the Lord Major to be alone retrieving the body. He doubted they would be without some others from the barracks but none that knew Peter the way that Keystone and George did. Aton nodded and held his cup of tea up. "That is good to hear," he said before taking another sip. As he lowered the glass he looked at her over the top of it and smiled slightly before setting it down. "What are your plans for today if you do not mind me asking and may feature in them if that is possible?" he asked gently as he picked up a small bite to eat before popping it in his mouth. There were things to do and the hour was passing quickly. What time was it again that Nora was supposed to meet with her?
