[@Burning Kitty] Your character’s spot on deductions are pretty unrealistic, it just comes off kind of meta-gamey. 

Connecting the sickness with the powers is perfectly reasonable, but jumping to the conclusion that it’s a parent of one of the students specifically working on a super soldier program is just a ludicrous cognitive leap.
