Michael had come from a line of 3 generations politicians, each ancestor leaving a sizable inheritance behind. Due to this Natasha grew up never having to worry about money, not at all. Despite this, she wasn't handed everything she wanted on a silver platter but still had to earn what she got whether it be through assisting with the chores or just behaving appropriately. 

Growing up, Natasha's parent's always held her to a high standard.
