[@FoxSoxs] In regards to the slowness, from what I understand a couple of people are working on posting stuff collaboratively so while there is not much going on at the moment in the thread there is a lot going on in the background that will go up all at once. Me and Ammokkx are also starting to work on something as well.

If we get more people involved then hopefully we don't end up with these periods where everyone is involved in large collabs at once and we get more smaller, interaction based posts so the thread doesn't look completely dead.

As far as tone goes, well, this is a world where there is a huge prestigious academy dedicated entirely to teaching people how to play a card game and one of my characters backstories included mention of professional level Duel Monster tournaments. So I think it's safe to say that Duel Monsters is a ridiculously big deal in this world like it is in the show.
