[@GarlandDaHero] Well, I mean, colonies are all over the place, probably.  That said, it's hard to make an Al Bhed culture when everyone has access to technology.  It doesn't make them stand out as much.  You would need to have something that makes them stand out even more, like maybe that they've raided Space Pirate biotech to some extent (since being laser-shooting crabs would appear to be an augmented sort of thing).
