He is, however, very loving towards his Pokemon, and treats them as if they were his children, or very close friends. He enjoys experiencing interactions with new Pokemon and places he has never met or been to before.

[color=9e0b0f][b]Background:[/b][/color] Clive was raised solely by his mother, Casey Wolfenheim, who worked as a Pokemon Ranger in the Fuchsia City Safari zone. He had always admired her job, and wished to do the same thing as he grew up, being influenced even more by the fact that she often allowed him to come with her and see all the rare Pokemon. One day, his mother caught him his first Pokemon at the Safari Zone, a Psyduck. The Duck Pokemon quickly became a strong companion to Clive, and as they grew up together, it eventually evolved into a Golduck. 

When Clive reached the age of 18, he was finally allowed to become a Pokemon Ranger, and did so for 3 years. But eventually, something didn't feel right anymore. Many strong trainers always came through the Safari Zone. They always had amazing stories of their adventures and the exotic Pokemon they'd met. He wanted to be a part of that. His mother supports his dream, and makes sure he has everything he needs to travel the region and become a powerful trainer.

Info: Paki grew up with Clive after being caught and gifted to the boy by his mother. They have a very strong bond, which makes them a great team in battle and in life.
