[sub][i]A thirty minute drive from Sol City to its outskirts, sits a wondrous National Park known as Mount Atlas. Providing a range of activities and accomodation, Mount Atlas is the go to place for anyone looking to escape the hectic ways of city life. Whether it is long, scenic walks you want or just some quiet time fishing, Mount Atlas has what you're looking for.[/i][/sub]

[color=cccccc]Atlas Lake is surrounded by various places to lay your head for the night. Whether it be an expensive, luxury log cabin you're looking for or just a place to pitch your tent for a night. There are various shops near the entrance to the site selling a variety items including their famous locally sourced honey. All proceeds are used to fund the continued running of the park.

The lakes activities are all based around non-motor powered activities. While jetski's and motor boats are not allowed, there are sail boats and canoes available to rent. Other activities include fishing and a designated area for swimming.

In addition the Sol City annual Triathlon starts and at the lake.[/color]

[color=cccccc]Situated high up Mount Atlas, the observatory operates year round allowing the public to view the stars in a way that is not possible in any other part of Sol City. In addition to the main attraction of the telescope there are regular lectures, presentations and even movie screenings. A small museum is located in an adjacent building that features various space memorabilia including part of a meteorite, a used space suit and various rocks from the moon.[/color]
