Saying nothing isn't an option when fifteen people on the roster are a week behind, heading into the two week limit. That's over half the roster.

I do understand the real life obligations getting in the way argument in regards to posting. I do, and have been on the receiving end many times. And with sufficient cause and forewarning that things might be a bit sparse, I'm more than ready to let things slide - [@Retired], for instance, said that he has to re-roof his house. 

But one post in a span of fourteen days is all it takes. It's not really alot to ask of those who haven't said much, if anything.
