[@Akayaofthemoon] I think working on the pod would probably be the best way to start getting my character interacting with the rest of the crew since having him in the med lab would leave him all alone for a while.  And he'd probably have been in the med lab working on the Ulnar anti-venom up until that point anyway, which would make having him still doing that and having no further interaction with the crew rather redundant.
