[color=FF8C00][indent]Santiago Emmanuel Fernandez was born on a chilly April afternoon in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico to Manuel and Gabriela Fernandez, ten years after the birth of their first son Steven. He was raised by his maternal grandmother Rosalba up until he was old enough to attend pre-K. The older woman cared for her “santito” with all the love and attention in the world, spoiling and defending her youngest grandson in the way only a grandmother can. The lack of discipline from his primary caretaker made it so that Santiago got away with anything and everything, even though he was mostly on his best behavior whenever he was with Rosalba. The minute somebody else tried to straighten him out, the boy would lash out, and his grandmother would come to the rescue. 

As expected, this would eventually become a problem. His school years attending the prestigious Baldwin School were marked by many incidents of disrespecting authority up until Santiago was old enough to realize that there were better ways to get what he wanted and receive the attention he deserved yet lacked from his parents. That’s when, as a teenager, he discovered the power of sports and females to fill the voids. It’s safe to say he hasn’t  been the same since.

When Diablo was fourteen, his father had been offered the promotion of a lifetime as the Executive VP of Operations of the North American division of Actavis Pharmaceuticals. This was why, right after his middle school graduation, the Fernandez family relocated to their new home in Crown Heights. Upon his enrollment and arrival at King’s Academy, Santiago was quickly labeled one of the school’s most attractive males, which only served to inflate his already huge ego. His aptitude at sports earned him the respect and friendship of fellow jocks, and that made it so the climb to the popularity ladder was swift, effortless and quick. With that came the attention of the female population, something that Diablo took complete advantage of to continue on with the old habits of sleeping around, breaking hearts and doing it all over again.

On his first semester at King’s, Santiago noticed that there was a golden opportunity that was being missed: all these spoiled, bored rich kids, yet there wasn’t a single pill plug to tend to the needs of his fellow classmates. The wheels in his entrepreneur brain began to move, and soon he had figured out a way to carry out his operation. Arrangements were made, plans were put in motion and by the start of his junior year, Diablo officially became King’s Academy’s “Candy Man”. The reception to his assortment of “candy” was beyond what he could have imagined; and now on his senior year, Diablo’s Candy Shop has expanded itself to include steroids to those athletes in search of a way to enhance their appearance or performance. 

He’s the boy who has it all: the looks, the fancy car, the hot girls, the steady stream of dollar bills coming through… It seems life can’t get any better for Santiago Fernandez.[/indent][/color]
