I'm on break and over the next three or four days I'm working twelve hour shifts at work so if I don't make my own two to three posts per week this week please don't call me a hypocrit. I get off in five or six hours then if I'm not dead tired I'm gonna RP for a few hours and make more micros before bed. 

The melted ones are like any other zombie type of crowd. If you get bitten you don't become one of course, but you will die within a few hours from radiation poisoning. I'd say most people don't venture into the infected zone because the radiation in the air from the melted ones would make most sick and vomit. Out of the three thousand or so infected, there are at least a few dozen survivors still in the quarantined zone.
