However, it doesn't mean that he completely abhors it as brute force can be as good a solution in some cases. During his time as a hired gun, he developed a sort of code of honor for the missions he partook in, only accepting those which abided by his code. One of the provisions of said code was that he does not condone the killing of innocents, thus did not accept bounties on targets who he thought was innocent, as well as minimizing unnecessary deaths during his missions. However, when desperate times come, he will not be afraid to do whatever it takes to ensure he accomplished his goal. Backstory: From his early years, Miko was trained by his father in the ways of combat, teaching him not only hand-to-hand combat but also swordsmanship and marksmanship. As he reached the age of 14, tragedy struck, A large army of raiders attacked the city he was living in, overwhelming the local defense force and pillaging the city. Both his parents were killed, fortunately, a close family friend rescued him and together they escaped. He then decided to join the TKR army, and achieved top honors in his class, eventually being transferred to ACA Trooper training instead. Even in a significantly tougher environment, he had no problem, ultimately becoming the best in his training batch and being assigned to one of the best battalions in the Republic army. After fighting for a few years under the TKR, he resigned. He then became a mercenary, an exceptional one as well, considering how well-trained and experienced he was. He built up a name for himself and soon was taking jobs from larger clients such as companies and governments, and even the TKR. Now he is regarded as one of the best in his respective professions. [b]Skills/Abilities/Feats:[/b] Meta is an extremely deadly warrior, and considered one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy for good reason. He is a master at close quarters combat, skilled with not only melee weapons but also his bare hands. He also has lightning-fast reflexes and is incredibly agile, even while wearing his armor. His favourite melee weapon aside from his body is his custom-made wrist blades, which are light, fast, and deadly. Meta is extremely adept in marksmanship, in addition to his close combat skills. He has mastered many different kinds of ranged weapons, ranging from pistols and carbines, to sniper rifles and heavy weapons. His incredible speed in drawing his weapon and hitting his target should also be noted. One of his key traits however, is his intelligence and tactical awareness. He is capable of hacking or slicing enemy tech, and can calculate trajectories and possible outcomes at remarkable speeds. Under the armor, he wears a reinforced armor mesh body/flight suit that insulates him from the elements and disperses kinetic impacts. However, he is still vulnerable to powerful attacks such as armor-piercing weaponry. The armor includes his helmet which features a HUD, a targeting system, a sensor system, a pressure sealing system, and a retractable drinking straw. Jetpack: His jetpack is remotely controlled through his helmet and is capable of carrying enough fuel for 5 minutes of sustained flight. The rocket has slightly more explosive power than an ordinary hand grenade, being able to take out light vehicles with one well-placed shot, but struggles against heavier armor. His left gauntlet contains a wrist-mounted flamethrower and a whipcord launcher, which fires a fibercord whip that wraps around and ensnares the target, rendering them immobile. However, they were less accurate than lasers and turbolasers but make up for it with power. - 4 turbolaser cannons, two located on the nose of the craft and one mounted on a turret on the top of the craft and one mounted on a turret on the underside. These were less powerful than plasma cannons but more powerful than ordinary laser cannons. They provided a good balance between speed and power, able to shoot down smaller ships while still packing enough punch to dent much larger ships. - 8 Quad laser cannon batteries, located all around the ship. These are the weakest but fastest weapons. Serving as a point-defense system, they are able to pick off small threats but struggled against larger ships. - 2 Ion cannons, located right beside the plasma cannons near the tip of the wings. These were used primarily to disable shields and the electronic systems of other starships. - 2 Proton torpedo tubes, located on the underside of the ship. Mainly used to fire proton torpedoes but is also capable of firing other types of ordnances such as bombs. - 2 Missile launchers, located on the middle of each wing beside the plasma cannons. Can be loaded with various different types of missiles. Facilities: - Bridge: The cockpit of the craft and the mobile command center are located here. The cockpit was as standard as any other starfighter, the only difference being that it was quite a bit larger and has more space to work with. The mobile command center is located behind the entrance to the cockpit, and features several computer terminals and a holotable. - Quarters: The Tempest has four separate, identical guest quarters, not including Meta's personal quarters which was slightly bigger than the others and included a bathroom - Miscellaneous rooms: The ship also has 2 public bathrooms, a lounge and a kitchen. - Holding Cells: Up to eight different cells are present on the ship, used to detain prisoners. - Hangar Bay: A somewhat large hangar bay whose gate opens on the starboard side of the ship. It can carry up to 5 smaller starfighters. -Cargo Bay: A separate area from the Hangar Bay which is exclusively used to hold cargo and other goods. -Armory: The place where Meta stores all of his various different weapons, also serves as a workshop when he repairs or cleans said weapons. -Thrusters/Engines: The Tempest has three main Ion thrusters and two auxiliary thrusters, all located on the back of the ship. They are powered by a Titan-class solar ionization reactor located in the engine room near the back end of the craft. In addition to the sublight engines, the Tempest possesses a class 1 hyperdrive, only slightly faster than most other ships of its type. -Shield Generator: Like any other large ship, the Tempest possessed generators which could create translucent energy fields. These fields were used to protect the craft by blocking or absorbing projectiles. These immensely powerful cannons can obliterate armored targets with ease, and can create explosions powerful enough to wipe away while divisions of infantry. Their only downside would be their relatively slow fire rate and can be overheated quite easily. - 2 Ripper missile launchers, located on the sides of the cockpit. These fire a salvo of small warheads that can devastate aerial targets and even ground targets with ease. The Halberd can carry a large amount of these missiles due to their small size, and thus, makes sure that there will be enough for prolonged engagements. - 4 Mass driver cannons, located on the backside of the mech. These mass driver cannons function well as artillery, taking out enemies from long distances and can function as a strong, although limited form of anti-air fire. The cannons, although powerful, have a slow fire rate. Manually exceeding the fire rate is possible however, doing so may cause the cannons to melt and collapse. Additional Info: - Heavy durasteel armor plating protects the Halberd, and can be replaced easily as the plates are modular. It also features a heat-resistant kinetic mesh which protects the pilot and the internal systems. The cockpit is pressurized and has a steel glass canopy, with a holographic display that shows data about the mech's systems and data from the battlefield. - To make up for the lack of mobility, the Halberd possesses four thrusters located on the backside of the walker which give a temporary boost of speed when activated. Their main firearms are dual X-19 plasma pistols, which overheat instead of running out of ammo, allowing the troopers to fire endlessly without having to worry of reloading their firearms. Usually serving as the acting commanders of Republic forces, the ACAs were well-trained in many tasks, including but not limited to: hand-to-hand combat, marksmanship, sabotage, leadership, tactics, environmental combat, heavy weapons use, etc. They accompanied regular troopers on most missions, acting as elite shock troops and commanding officers at the same time. Unlike their counterparts however, Ubercommandos specialized in covert operations as opposed to frontline fighting. They are usually assigned to missions which involve demolition, sabotage, reconnaissance, infiltration and assassination. They were trained and deployed in squads of 4, with each member usually specialzing in a certain aspect, such as slicing, demolitions, or sniping. [b]Equipment:[/b] Ubercommandos were usually equipped with C-17 interchangable weapons platforms, which was a plasma rifle that could be configured into 3 different modes. The standard mode is the plasma rifle, suited for close to mid-range engagements and had the highest firing rate. The third is the anti-armor configuration, which can be loaded with different types of payloads, such as rockets and grenades. Crusaders were usually comprised of physically-gifted Kalani in order to maximize the suit's potential. It was manned by a pilot and a co-pilot/gunner and could carry 30 troopers in its troop bay. It could travel through both planetary atmosphere and outer space with its pressurized door seals and had a length of 28 meters. They were primarily used as troop transports and air support for ground-based forces. A variant of this also existed, where the troop bay was replaced with mechanical clamps instead, this was used to carry vehicles. In addition to what was previously mentioned, there is an extremely large ion pulse generator on the front of the ship, capable of producing an EMP wave which can disable any machine which requires electric energy in its line of fire temporarily. It is armed with heavy plasma batteries, heavy turbolaser cannons, medium turbolaser cannons, heavy laser cannons, medium laser cannons, light laser turrets, ion cannons, heavy proton torpedo tubes, missile launchers, and tractor beam projectors. It is also armed with the dual proton collider supercannon, an incredibly destructive weapon which can destroy capital ships in a single barrage and devastate a planet's surface from orbit. It has a crew of about 60,000 and carries several thousand starships and several AV-66 corvettes, while also containing hundreds of armored vehicles and about 30,000 troopers. It has an extremely durable hull and has impressive shielding capabilities, and a hyperdrive with the same speed as that of a Devastator-class Battlecruiser. However, due to its sheer size, weaponry, and facilities, only a small number of these warships have been built, with 8 currently being present in the Republic fleet, with more on the way.
