Traitor for the Qun [ Dragon Age 2, kinda]

(closed)

Will try to be short with this (I don't want to seem too demanding like in the request below), I do love getting feedback from potential partners and try to find common ground with them and plan together! This may be updated in time as I get ideas (since this is far from complete, I impulsively post this) until I find a good partner. Frances fled from Ferelden along with few of the members of her small assassin group after the Blight took over, but the hit was far too great. Through good connections and a lot of struggling, they managed to get their place in Kirkwall, however, they were stuck in the Lowtown. Plenty of the Serpent assassins that came with Frances started doing a lot of dirty work, which did not end well for them. Despite her fiery temperament, Frances laid low and that is not a good thing. She despised the people from Kirkwall and that bitterness only grew in time. Things only grew to be worse when the Qunari arrive at the Kirkwall and she finds out that one of her colleagues from the Serpents stole a tome from the Qunari. She was washed over by fear when she found this out and once she faces one of the Qunari men, for the greater good, she ends up pushing away her former colleague into the hands of the Qun, which results in either torture or death. After such decision, which was obviously not easy for Frances, she caught the attention from the silver-skinned men and they take her as well. But this time, they took her in to see her work and do small deeds against the Kirkwall. But, they don't tell her their plan. Frances has no idea that this leads to slaughter, something she's against. YC can be Arishok or Arishok type of a character or perhaps some other position of your choice. I'd be happy to discuss many other options. The events are inspired by the DA2 events, though not entirely based on it. Not really planning to involve existing characters. This is basically a small draft on which we will build further.

The Outcasts [ Dragon Age Inquisition, my old plot ]

(closed)
Why always be a big hero when you can be one of those guys in the group? Honestly, if I get a great partner to play this plot out, I'm never letting you go! I'll make this an experience! Female human Rogue x Male Qunari mercenary (The more he's like The Iron Bull, the better!)
Iron Bull is one of the best things that have happened to me in DA universe, I swear. I really like The Iron Bull and his character. Now, YC doesn't have to necessarily be the rip off of this character (I truly prefer original characters with original backstory and personality) but there are some similarities I wish YC had with the Bull. His humorous side and his view on the world, but also the fact that he likes redheads, because 90% of my characters are always redheads, how convenient? I have a character sheet ready for MC, so just ask! This takes place even before the Breach opened. YC should have already the similar status as Bull, he leads the group of mercenaries, while MC is the leader of a notorious group of assassins. While YC's group is skilled when it comes to fighting hard, MC's group is more rougish and quick and our characters get to clash with one another. MC and her group move to the Storm Coast in order to build a hold where they'll basically be the ones who'll roam freely the coast, take it as their own and bring down the Blades of Hessarin. The real reason why MC wanted to move to the Storm Coast was because of the ancient dwarven port, which was believed to be abandoned for years and the entrance was sealed. Excited with the idea to take something for herself and the group in order for them to grow stronger, MC refuses to back out of this. She's very stubborn and ambitious, and needless to say, a great and respected leader. YC on the other hand was paid to track down these assassins. Perhaps a noble or a rich merchant stated his concerns and was already a victim and suffered greatly since one of their assaults and since he wasn't their target, he just got in a way, he's one of the rare survivors which MC left. This person paid YC a lot of money which YC couldn't reject and managed to track down MC's group and they meet in the Storm Coast. There'll either be a very heated dialogue or they'll strike without waiting a moment. During one of their attacks, the Breach opens and Rifts come down on Storm Coast. These two groups end fighting along with each other to kill off the demons, but it's MC's group that suffers, leaving only her trusted friend and herself alive. YC and his mercenaries get to kill all the demons and leave MC and her friend at YC's mercy and that's the moment when she needs to tone down her attitude. If YC is similar to The Bull, our characters will have an interesting dynamic, because my rogue female will be a trickster and mischievous redhead with short temper. Thanks to this, MC and her friend will become YC's mercenaries and they'll work together. However, I imagine our characters are big fans of alcohol and while being intoxicated, they get into intimate intercourse. That said, I don't plan on making them friends immediately. Just some sort of respect that they share with one another and it progressively grows into something more. Once things do escalate, they don't treat it as anything special. They'll make up excuses, they're both attractive individuals with needs so it's absolutely normal that they can do each other if they're available. But it'll make it better if they deny that they like each other a little bit more than that. As for the Inquisition, it won't change much from the actual game, but with our own twists. Our characters will be considered as 'outcasts' in the Inquisition, simply because they do not come from the most trusting side of the story, which might bring our characters closer, but they're still extremely useful with their resourcefulness and skill, and we all know Inquisition is desperate for help. Where the story leads us next? Inquisition will start debating on who will they side with: the Templars or rebel mages, which we will decide or our characters can even do something to ruin what the superiors from the Inquisition originally planned, though they're never caught and that remains a secret between them. After that we'll slowly close in to the entire "In Your Heart Shall Burn" thing, followed by the events that will lead into the Skyhold and of course, I don't want to miss the entire Winter Palace drama. Following the game and how we build it up with our own twists will be fairly easy, if you ask me. The theme in this rolelplay is to make a complicated relationship, considering that Qunari aren't the "lovey dovey" types. Character I have for this is very romantically unaware for reasons that will be obvious within the story. So the point is to confuse the hell out of these two unaware that what they have is actually love, but they keep messing up, angering, hurting each other, only to come back to one another. I am SO done with cookie cutter relationships in roleplays, seriously. I want the struggle and the drama, so the good moments feel much better!

Vampire and supernatural plots! [ Modern nights (VtM/WoD) and 19th century (Dracula inspired) ]

(closed)
There's a lot of dark themes and sinful elements in both of these ideas. When I mean sinful elements, it may be considered taboo in a daily life and sinful in biblical sense. Not meant for the faint of heart. Human (F) x Vampire (M)
Large craving for something dark, bloody and romantic, and very sinful. If you're a fan of 1992 Dracula movie, then we're going to get along. MC is a French noblewoman who moved with her parents to London (her father being an Englishman) and continued their life here. But she's not so sweet at first when you see her, she shows her true face at night. As most aristocrats, they have occasionally parties which involves drinking and meeting up with strangers. Rosalie is a social butterfly, but she's eaten hearts of men. Her dresses are not entirely modest and the cross around her neck obviously becomes as a sort of mask she hides behind. She's a lustful and insatiable woman who needs attention, she made men cheat and run to her, only to be bored the next morning and forget about it. In this certain party, she meets a beautiful man who seems unnaturally attractive. The two hit it off that evening, but nothing specific happens. There was no kiss, let alone anything else. Just some thought-provoking and incredibly intimate whispers of things that make Rosalie dazed and yearns for him more, despite not knowing why exactly. He's not shallow like other men. He's not easy. And after that party, she wants to see him again, but has to wait some time until there was a another party, where she sees him again. Then they can have their privacy, where they can leave all the philosophical questions and get to know each other, but he's always so vague when he speaks about himself. After a number of their meetings (which we will discuss), Rosalie starts having vivid dreams of him, ones that makes her body yearn for him uncontrollably, as if he put his spell on her, until she eventually meets him one stormy night in the garden (be it him in his human or not so human form), where he takes her. After that strange evening, Rosalie gets a headache when she's around sunlight, she can barely pass by a church, let alone walk inside, and all her emotions and natural needs are doubled in the evening. What happens next? Let's talk about it!
Vampire x Vampire Werewolf (M) x Vampire (F)
Big vampire fan, Vampire the Masquerade (and rest of the World of Darkness universe), and love to include other supernatural beings who have their own status quo. (The "modern nights" vampire rp can be completely original world with our set of rules and standards or play in the World of Darkness setting!) I love the differences between the characters, so the vampire x werewolf pairing would ideal, but I do happily accept vampire x vampire pairings too. Werewolf can be a man from a Native American tribe who is believed to have the spirit of the wolf, one he can't always control (In WoD standards, that would be mean a werewolf from a Garou or Uktena tribe) I'm not interested in currently turned werewolf (or "pup"), it has to someone who's been around for a while and is aware. This is just a suggestion, I want to hear your ideas! As for the vampire, he can be someone with a stronger political position, but has his own ambitions to rise to the top. But preferably if this particular vampire is doing some stuff he shouldn't be doing and holds some secrets that can affect his surroundings. (WoD: A Giovanni, a Lasombra or a Ventrue Kindred). Again - it's a suggestion. Can be a completely different clan or vampire background! Not interested in fledglings or recently turned vampires. MC, Rosalie (WoD: Toreador clan) comes from a small "Family" (WoD: much like the Giovanni) of vampires known as Chapelle. While they're scattered all around the world, in this particular town there's currently only three of them: British actor Donovan, current head of the family (WoD: Toreador clan, Rosalie's sire) and Italian countess Francesca (WoD: Ventrue clan). Rosalie has been friends with Francesca back in 1800's while she was still a human and working hard to be a theater actress in Paris until she was struck by a plague, only for Francesca to bring over her husband who turned her into a vampire, since the female vampire elder recognized the talent of the red-haired French woman. Ever since then, Rosalie has been surrounded by finery and luxury, a famous theater actress, the Chapelles have been high up in the social ladder, even are close with the head vampire of the city (WoD: the Prince or Baron). Rosalie is a true social butterfly: charming, seductive, manipulative and controlling, but also has been responsible for the killing of some important people in the past. But those assassinations are separated between decades and Rosalie is brought in these situations only when she has to. She's Donovan's Mistress, practiced Sex rituals with both him and his wife together. Rosalie, however, is being used and made into a political weapon against other vampires. Rosalie wouldn't expect the two people she trusts to use her so coldly and be ready to throw her out at the sunrise should she unknowingly fail. Rosalie's subplot in this grand scheme would be her discovering that the people she's been relying on her entire unlife have not been her friends. Whether you take a werewolf or a vampire, there will be some forbidden romance themes. When paired up with a vampire, it can go two ways: If a vampire comes from a "Family" much like the Chapelles (WoD: Giovanni), Rosalie and him have been friends for quite some time. However, there have been some developed feelings between the two, one that they haven't resisted. However, from YC's vampire family there are rules that they mustn't be involved with vampires from other families or clans. To leave matters to you, a potential partner, there are more things that YC has been rebellious about. There's a possibility that he's pursuing something absolutely forbidden by the vampire society and it gets Rosalie involved in it. This thing he is pursuing leads to some greater troubles that can put absolutely everyone in grave danger. Or if you want YC to have a position of power (WoD: Ventrue or Lasombra), it can be practically a same thing, but this means greater troubles for YC as the authority. If YC is a werewolf of any kind, this brings a more complicated situation. Vampires and werewolves despise and kill each other on sight. But there are some strange, even mystical events happening in the city that makes everyone extremely wary (VtM:B: Arrival of the Ankaran Sarcophagus and possibility of Gehenna being among the Kindred and Kine), everyone is less concerned about the "racism" and more wary about what is going on. With so many strange events in the city, werewolf's calm presence in the city is least of their issues (unless he wants to go batshit crazy, which wouldn't be smart). As the matter of fact, this werewolf was interested about what was happening in the city. Rosalie, on the other hand, would be rather excited to see a werewolf here. She had some strange dreams in her slumber during the day that she was ravaged by a massive beast that she's never seen. (remember that scene from Dracula's 1992 movie with Lucy?). A woman with such dangerous craving to see her first opportunity with a werewolf (and an insatiable Toreador, at that), who could stop her from making what could be a fatal decision? Some vampires that knew her (and if only they knew that she dared to seduce a werewolf) could comply with the idea of such a woman charming a beast. While the subplot could be rather one-dimensional (but pleasing), Rosalie is tangled in some crazy political matters in the vampire lore, while the werewolf witnesses very unusual (perhaps spiritual, hence the Native American spiritual tribesman) things that sign what can be the downfall of the city. The political mess and these supernatural powers somehow intertwine and create chaos, leaving these two to deal with this entire mess.
