Personality:

As an old soldier and battle hardened merc Silas has spent the majority of his life on one battlefield or another. But he didn't get here by luck Silas is calculating and cool headed preferring to plan out things beforehand and always has a Plan B in case things go bad. But Silas is not cold he values his Comrades willing to abandon a mission to save one of his own and making a point to never leave a man behind if at all possible. Silas cares for the Legion and even has a plaque in his room naming the fallen so that they will never be forgotten. He can come off as very direct and isn't known to directly lie to a comrade's face.

Bio:

Silas was born on Mars to a poor family. While growing up every day was a struggle to survive and it wasn't long before he had to turn to thievery to even survive, and before long the young boy had a long rap sheet with the local police. And by the age of fourteen he was on his way to juvenile hall, but instead of his sentence Silas choose an alternative and was signed up for the Military Academy. And for the first time in his life Silas had a purpose in life and something to achieve.

During his years at the SSA Military Academy Silas made a big impression. He worked himself nearly to death training to become a soldier leaving his peers behind and impressing his supervisors. When he was 18 Silas graduated the Academy with top marks ready to do his finest for the SSA. And he would do that for the next eight years.
Over his eight years of service in the SAA army Silas served on the front line in many small battles. He even served in the two years of skirmishes against the Hissho, over the control of some outlying colonies that were far from worth the loss of life to hold them. And in the end the SSA were defeated leaving the colonies to the Hissho. Although he had been doubting the SSA already, the loss of the colonies after so much blood shed just didn't feel right. There were so many opportunities to reduce casualties and save civilians, but his orders always seemed to be to kill never to help. The SSA's disregard for life didn't sit well with Silas and he soon left the SAA and disappeared off the grid.

Silas spent the next 7 years working for the Kain's Wrath Mercenary company in Collective space. During this time he learned about alien cultures and spent time learning their tactics. His time in Kain's Wrath took Silas back to his days of childhood as the mercenary group was little more than thugs on a galactic scale. And after his 7 years Silas had a bit of a falling out with Kain's Wrath made his way back into UGC space ready to return to human society.

But Silas didn't return alone he came back to the UGC with Sven, a Vandrell Merc that he meet while in Kain's Wrath and sided with Silas during his argument with Kain. The two of them would become the founding members of the Crimson legion and would spend the next 9 years building the Mercenary group from the ground up. And under Silas' lead the Crimson Legion has become one of the most well known Mercenary groups in UGC space.

Sven - [i]"That old hunk of Junk is probably one of the best pilots around, that and a damn good mechanic without him Legion's End would be a derelict by now. He can be a bit annoying at times but it is meant in a good way. Really have to get him to download a damned targeting program for his main body."[/i]

Gaz - [i]"Gaz's reputation alone has brought in more potential contracts than I would of ever thought. He is nearly a monster on the battlefield and as long as I can keep him reigned in he is a valuable asset. That being said he has shown a sort of Honor in his fighting, never leaving a wounded man behind even throwing his massive armored hide in the way of incoming fire. He is definitely more trustworthy than most of his kind, but then again a cat is more trustworthy than normal Fungai."[/i]
