Also [@Matador], do you want to start your character as a local of the region? Or are you traveling here as well? Not being the traditional "main character", you could also start off with a couple Pokemon in your party already. 

I ask because (if you want your character to be from the region) I can go ahead and tell you what Pokemon live around where your character grew up.
