Technology based characters was kind of a broad statement so I apologise about that. I meant characters who gain all or most of their abilities from using technology, someone like Captain Cold or Syndrome i.e. regular humans with powerful weapons.

That would make them a different character though. I'd still be able to use the same powers but it would completely alter their backstory.

Some of your examples raise an interesting questions though. [@MikkishtheLeprechaun], do our characters also start without armour? What about stuff like magic rings that aren't weapons but which grant abilities?
