Age is less a factor then experience. You could be a thousand year old imp who just got released from a Warlock's control and decided you wanted to branch out on your own and still apply. Or you could be an incredibly powerful telekinetic eight year old who just wants to learn better ways to squish people.

In essence, you want someone with the potential and desire for growth, regardless of age.
