Colette was unsure whether or not to accept the arm of a man she had only just met, but still, she felt the man could be trusted. He seemed genuine in his responses to her questions. He [i]answered[/i] her questions, also. So she took his arm. Not only would it show others that the two were traveling together, but it would hopefully deter any other unwanted attention.
