Penelope rolled her eyes as he winked at her. She jumped slightly as the door opened and Hartley returned with Kip in tow. She quickly separated from Crow and flushed slightly at the young thief’s words. Her gaze flickered over to Kip, who gave a small smile. “Oh alright.” Penelope said, recovering from her slight embarassment as she stood up from the bed. Kip smiled at Hartley then moved away from his side and over to Penelope. “I just wanted to thank you again. I might have made a mistake if I didn’t listen to you.” Kip said politely. A small smirk crossed her lips, catching Penelope slightly off guard. She leaned in closer and lowered her voice. “Sorry if we interrupted anything. I didn’t expect you to move so fast.” Penelope’s face turned a bright red. She was beginning to see that perhaps Hartley and Kip weren’t total opposites. She’s just quieter... She shook her head. “What? No, no nothing was going on.” She said defensively. Kip giggled at the knight’s reaction and stepped back to glance around the room. “So are you two already ready to leave?” She asked. “Pretty much. Just have to grab our stuff and go really.” Penelope answered glancing towards their bags. “We’ll walk with you to the town line.” Hartley said with a grin. “It’s not too far from here anyways."
