The metal naiji failed to properly introduce himself by any other means than the word: "Friend". 

Worried little about his own safety, the naiji turned his attention away from what was ungoing. After hearing Dog make a friendly apology, the naiji confirmed his statement with a seeming desire to move forward to meet the potential threat:
"Hung...ger."

The creature seemed to have spotted the first of many more hallways.
