Sidney Greenheart
"Tomorrow's problems are tomorrow me's problems. Can't do much about it now, so why don't we relax for a little while?" Name

Sidney Greenheart
Age

18
Gender

Male
Appearance

A dark eyed brown haired boy of average looks and height, supporting a slim build with hints of muscle. His physicalities are very much that of a typical boy his age, perhaps a little slimmer than usual, but Sidney nevertheless has his own uniqueness. His eyes have a certain far-off quality to them, giving Sidney a certain vacant air. His face is pretty average but is almost always adorned with a smile. Sidney wears whatever he grabs first as he doesn't have much of a consistent look. Still, those that know him can easily recognise "the Sidney look".
Personality

Sidney is a very laid-back person, seemingly very close to the point of being naive. He's a little quiet and a little distant, and he lets his mind wander perhaps a little too much, but he's pretty sociable if he needs to be. Sidney is more of a listener than a talker, and when he does talk it's rather simple. This makes him pretty quiet but he actually talks surprisingly often, and speaks his mind without thinking much. He's famous for missing social cues but he always keeps his head in tight situations and remains positive no matter the odds. In short, he's a stable sort of person even if he isn't always all there. He likes learning new things and seeing new places, and is generally never averse to a new experience.
Background

Sidney doesn't remember a lot about his early life. He lived in a settlement whose people emphasized stealth, traps and scavenging over fighting. Their settlement area was ideal for life but it happened to be the hot zone where the territories of several different dinosaur clans intersected. As such, the settlement leaders eventually decided to leave the area for safer pastures. Some of the people stayed behind, be it because they wished to stay, or because they were physically unable to move. The rest moved on, but their numbers began being whittled down. Through a long, winding journey, the survivors eventually made it to Amberstone, but they'd lost more than half their number through a disastrous series of events. Nevertheless, they had made it. And for young Sidney at the time, fresh from losing members of his family, it was like the gold at the end of the rainbow. He settled down in Amberstone with his aunt and uncle. Their scouting abilities helped them get enough to live on and his days were peaceful. It was what his family had wanted, but what about Sidney himself? It had been a dark experience for one so young, and he knew he didn't want to repeat it anytime soon. But the journey had shown Sidney new things, things he never knew existed. In the end, despite the danger, despite everything he'd lost on the journey, Sidney had felt some measure of gratification through the journey. The reward had been worth it, but he couldn't help but wonder what else was out there, what new horizons he had not yet seen.
