Quick sheet tossed together, I can clean it up a little bit tomorrow. Always wanted to get a little involved in Scion. A standard issue police badge, pistol, and nightstick are almost always at his side, along with strange chain supposedly connected to his wallet. Silas has no visible tattoos, markings, or scars. Abilities/Skills: Bachelor degrees in Political Science and Psychology, 7 years of Detective Experience, top graduate from the Police Academy (proficient with sidearms and CQB) Supernatural Abilities: While not exactly "Supernatural" and more extraordinary are Silas' ability to piece together crime scenes within minutes, his near perfect memory, and his ability to blend into nearly any social situation despite his lack of proper charisma. In regards to the supernatural, Silas can, in short bursts, increase his strength and stamina drastically (strong enough to throw cars and able to heal up some potentially lethal wounds within seconds), but usually suffers from extreme exhaustion afterwards. Birthright: Dromi, the mythical chain said to be breakable by only Fenrir, has been in part been bestowed upon Silas. The chain can bind nearly any creature once wrapped around them. Dromi is also the source of extreme strength and stamina for Silas, for these attributes only increase drastically if the chain is wrapped around his right wrist and arm. History: Silas was always drawn to the idea of promoting justice as he grew up in the midwestern United States. His parents were killed early on in his life in the line of duty, as they were both local police officers who ended up chasing down a bank robber. Things ended up going south as the robber activated an explosive and took out multiple law enforcement officers. Afterwards, Silas was raised by his uncle and his uncle's boyfriend, a criminal defense attorney and an civil litigation lawyer in the suburbs of Chicago. While his uncle was incredibly supportive, it was only natural that the young orphaned child would be molded into a law-abiding citizen with strict morals and a sense of duty towards the law of the land. When Silas graduated from high school, he was not incredibly popular. He was an athlete and captain of the Mock Trial team at his private high school, but was never particularly charismatic and rarely spent time socializing with others when he could be studying or doing something productive. He was also a nark, which led Silas to call in an anonymous tip when a late-night graduation party with other athletes involved some mild drug usage. He went on to Graduate from Brown University with a BA in Cognitive Science. Immediately after college, something his uncle had told him changed his life course dramatically. Just an off-hand comment about his parents and how much Silas was living up to their expectations changed everything for the recent graduate. Almost immediately, Silas applied and was accepted through the FBI's SASS after spending two mediating years going through the police academy and working as a police officer. After completing his FBI training, Silas served for 5 years. He helped in mostly minor crimes, but ended up often working in conjunction with FBI SWAT on a few larger cases involving hostages and human trafficking. Similar to his parents, one of these cases ended poorly. Silas played hero and placed himself in harm's way to protect a victim of trafficking during a tense negotiation. One of the traffickers got jumpy, and the FBI agent placed himself directly in harm's way to ensure the protection of the child. The bullet wound had penetrated deep into his chest cavity, but had just narrowly avoided any major organs. After a few hours on the operating table, Silas was wheeled away to a recovery room. The first person to visit Silas was none other than Tyr, his real father. The god did not enter with much fanfare, instead disguised as an FBI agent himself to inform Silas that he was being discharged from the FBI. The two had an extensive talk, where Tyr explained the general situation of the world and the importance Silas had in it. Silas' eyes were opened, so to speak, at the abilities he possessed. The Aesir god handed Silas a chain, warning him that its strength came at a cost, before leaving the confused man alone to recover from his injury. While the investigator was discharged from the FBI, he still moved to New York where he was quickly accepted as a Part-Time investigator for Major Crimes. He was a brilliant detective, often working off the clock with the NYPD on cases to do what he could. At the same time, Silas has been mildly involved in the conflict against the Titans, mostly acting as a small-scale investigator of Titan activity for the past year and a half.
