From what I remember, Loki is not bound to the stone with the serpent dripping venom into his face until after Baldur's death, and Scion's base setting frames Ragnarok as if it is on the horizon, but has not yet been set into motion, hence why the Aesir are having so many scions in a vain attempt to stall the onset of their destruction. I could be wrong but I don't think the Earth in Scion is currently ravaged by the Fimbulwinter so I think we've got time for Baldur to pop [s]a couple dozen[/s] one out.
