So I just wants to say I liked both of the characters going in for the scout slot. And it was tough to decide to ultimately got it. But I'm going to have to give it to David. At the end of the day, I felt David's character fit more into the scout role, having plenty of hunting experience and needing to know how to sneak around ADVENT patrols.

Carlotta is great. I like that her background and personality sort of groom her for leadership. Her tendency to take charge and solve problems works very well for that position, and her history as an intelligence operative teaches her how to arrange all of her cards and play them properly. I get the feeling Carlotta has an excellent strategic mind, able to come up with ways to intelligently run circles around ADVENT. I feel that is a great progression path for Carlotta, like her problems with sometimes overdrinking keeping her from fully taking charge of the situation. Carlotta's attitude is something I'd say is quite realistic following an invasion and having to be forced to survive. While she didn't end up getting the scout role, I think she'd be a great addition to Falcon team, so she is [color=lime]APPROVED[/color].

The nice thing is is that Carlotta seems to adequately fill the tech role as well with her background. Since she is an intelligence operative, it's possible with a bit of tweaking, that her intelligence work was more on the digital side of things. Perhaps she was a field agent sent to infiltrate enemy networks and such. So play around with her profile a bit and see what you can come up with to fit her into a new role!

As I mentioned earlier, I feel David fits the scout role very well. I imagine when he was younger, he was sent to range ahead because of his smaller size. Of course now that he is grown up, that might not be the case anymore, but the fundamental lessons have stuck with him. The additional fact that David hunted with his father when he was young, and forage off the wilderness, helps to keep the team fed even during a lack of supplies. His youthful outlook on things might help ground the team and remind the older members what they're fighting for. Also, he may have been around longer than Fiona, but I'm sure the fact that he wasn't originally a Falcon operative either is something that'd make the two click. So there's potential for some great character development ahead. David is also [color=lime]APPROVED[/color]!
