I guess my thought process on having a character in an RP that I may not have a lot of lore knowledge about, is that my character equally wouldn't have that much lore knowledge (well, depending on who they are I guess).  Although, I suppose as a Smug or BH, they would have some fairly good intel over the comms considering they probably listen in on law enforcement channels just in case they are mentioned, lol.
