Forgoing Spoilers from now on as I just didn't want to ruin the end of the movie for those who may see it.
I'm not sure this chibi version will continue should the original return. Maybe, so they can milk it for all it is worth. Maybe the original is only getting one final season. The live-action shit will be canceled, no doubt about that, though.
