Personality Aerith is someone who can have a cool, calm demeanor, a sort of relaxed persona on the average. Though when she puts her mind to something, or a given task, she can exert a level of focus and quality discipline/dedication in her work that is not to be underestimated even for a teenager (though can manifest the occasional stubborn moments). However, she does carry on her shoulders some grudges and the frustrations from her home life, the details of which are a sore subject for her personally and that can get her in a bad mood if dredged up. In fact it was these things helped eventually push her to attempt suicide after so many resets and perceived failures, including her feelings that she failed Chieko and was rejected by her. Yet after being saved from this by the deal of two witches, Aerith has been able to both vent her passions and gain some more perspective about herself and push past some of the pains of her past and present. Along with some time to think about all that has happened to her and to the others as far as she knew, she has come to the conclusion she desires the truth. About the witches, and Lord Talus, and all of this so she can mete out a happy life. She also seeks to better accept her faults, and try to move forward doing better than she did before. Aerith still values those who are genuine, a thing that still hasn't changed about her, and like before remains not always the best at conversation in certain emotional situations. She does hold Chieko and Hiro as being more valuable people to her in this world than others now, however, in part due to their shared deaths and constant company with each other over the many resets. Indeed, she (not knowing of Hiro's demise) hopes to be able to find both of them again one day as well and talk to them. Though whilst she feels grateful to Vainglory/Joy for saving her (and Melancholy for helping open her eyes), at the same time Aerith doesn't feel like she desires to blindly fall into those arms again. Or any other sets of arms or nice tits or sweet words like honey, for that matter, that could potentially be deceiving her. Though even in this, she retains her soft spot for young children. Her ability to put on a "mask" and an impeccable act/facade has been somewhat more practiced in Joy's company, at least to an extent. She can do this eerily effectively, and ultimately appearing genuine in application even to many sets of trained or older eyes. Though it used to be a thing she feels makes her a "monster" on the inside, and still does to some extent (much like a lifelong scar), she now sees her doing this as easily as breathing air as a potential tool in her goals as well at this time. She is also still rather perceptive, such that she is also capable of reading through the "masks" and such of others clearly, among such things. Class If she is to be of use to anyone, including herself, Aerith must grow and learn with what she has. Despite not possessing a singular role yet fit for a "party", her expanded capabilities after the first timeskip have moved her another step closer to that end at least. -Aerith's "big box" has now been filled with something, in this case with the Authority of Wit she gained from choosing to stay with Joy/Vainglory post-suicide attempt. -She also now knows a variety of Yin (darkness) spells she can cast, essentially a bunch of "generic debuffs" from MMO's, such as stuns, attack or defense debuffs, blinding others (aka a blind spell), making them deaf or mute or such (along the same simple vein as the blind spell), etc. This being said, she does lack formal/proper training in magic use, despite her newfound breadth of magical knowledge. Bio Aerith has had her world rocked, in more ways than one, since her and the others' arrival in Priestella. She arrived alongside two of the the other Earthlings/Non-Natives, the cheeky chunni Chieko, and the toughened boxer Hiro. At first things seemed almost fantastical, though the slums they were in proved to be more deadly, both slaughtering the trio and resulting in their first "Return by Death". Though with the help of the knights Irene and Vasilis the group was able to make it out of the slums, and ended up meeting with the other non-natives who had also been pulled into this world by the mysterious "Lord Talus". However, from this point things began to greatly change. Others from Earth who ceased to revive along with them, constant and seemingly inevitable deaths, and in-fighting as the group of non-natives to this new world tried to move forward. Aerith herself was mentally and emotionally pushed more and more along the way, attempting to organize the group with varied success as time went on. She found a seeming ally in a boy named Ashton, however, one member of the group whom with she discovered more about what was going on. Combined with invaluable information from Chieko and the otherse, the reasons why they were being seemingly hunted down each reset came to light. The trio's (Aerith, Chieko and Hiro) actions to save their lives, as well as those of Irene and Vasilis, had drawn the attention of the local demi-human bandits who thought them to be "Clairvoyants" who could see the future. But upon the latest reset, the group seemed to be making progress, when Chieko volunteered at Donovan's Clinic to go with the bandits in exchange for Hiro and Aerith's safety. It was at this time, however, that Aerith building paranoia about the situation seemed to come to a head. Having died to the vengeful Quill's heated blade and flames many times over, and knowing Chieko was admitting to a lie about being Clairvoyant, she feared Chieko was walking to a painful and brutal death. Desperate to try to avoid Chieko's death, Aerith set fire to the clinic, and with the help of Hiro got the three of them out of the clinic seemingly safe....until the mysterious Elder Sibling approached them. Guessing the figure was the titular Fritzi, whose house cleaning job had gotten herself and Hiro killled before, Aerith attempted to lie her way to the forefront and take attention off of Hiro and Chieko. Maybe then, she thought, they could be safe somehow, some way, or at least get the demihuman bandits to pay less attention to them altogether. The tension was high, and as much as her acting skills were good back home they didn't pan out in this case. The accused 'Fritzi' turned her down, and Chieko seemed to turn on her completely despite her attempts to help her. Alongside Elder Sibling's comments about Aerith herself and the situation, it pushed Aerith into a dark corner of her mind... ...Soon after she attempted suicide in front of Chieko and Elder Sibling, having cracked at that moment to the pressures and constant death that had pushed her and the others so far. She spoke what she felt were going to be her final words, and then jammed a metal-tool filled candle, still hot and burning her hands, into her own neck without hesitation. She then very rapidly and seemingly succumbed and died on the spot, at least to the eyes of the others and to her own perceptions. Afterwards, more chaos ensued that she would have no knowledge of occuring. Hiro was left permanently dead by a good intention to trigger a reset. Chieko was being carted off by the demihuman rebels, and others were rushing to the scene or trying to wrap their minds around it all. But this, this was not the end of her life. In fact, Aerith herself was not seemingly fated to die just yet. Finding herself in the company of the beautiful witch Vainglory/Joy, and reeling from post-suicidal pent up emotions, Aerith was overwhelmed and surrendered herself into Joy's arms blindly. After an intimate time together, Aerith was in bed with the witch before being approached by another witch: Melancholy. This new arrival questioned her, made her wonder about Joy's intentions...and more so other things that had not yet been answered. What had happened to the others? Who was it that truly loved her and wanted her here? Where were the Augria Sand Dunes, and why had Joy/Vainglory been locked up there? What were these witches, and what did they want with her and the others? Despite being offered the chance to leave Joy's side and talk to the other witches, Aerith chose to spend her time with Joy...who had both cut the deal to save her life and seemingly done a lot to keep her alive in this instance. After all, it was all she knew about things, and she wanted to ask Joy about all of these things. With that path being chosen by her, she gained the Authority of Wit, and would spend further time with Joy whilst internally questioning herself as to what was really going on...until this moment. Waking up to a strange elf kicking her awake by a cold campfire, and not by the side of the witch who she'd been sleeping with, Aerith has been thrown into a new predicament. While still able to recall her time with Joy, she is otherwise unable to recall how long their time together was. Now, with a greater variety of magic and a new power in tow, how will she move forward in a world that thinks her dead? Will she seek out old comrades, look for new ones, or even end up following this new eccentric madman she doesn't know? Only time will tell [s]during this this new season of DEE-BEEE-ZEEEEEEEEE[/s]. If she tells someone a joke, she can cause them to break into uncontrollable laughter, as if they've gone insane. This can make it harder to focus on tasks or even breathe. They do not need to find the joke funny or even understand it. While it's impossible to kill someone directly with wit, they will lose contentiousness if they are under its effects too long. In order for the laughing to persist, they must be within twenty feet of Aerith, and she can't effect more than one person at a time.
