[@Quote5][@CmdrAlfieq] On account of Hany's Ribbon causing substantial interference in communication and navigational systems of any and all ship systems in its path, and because the two parties are in fact a lightyear apart, stellar transmissions between MASGC and other vessels are quickly cut off. Rodia and Siren are likely aware of The Tempest's presence now. Since the Tempest is but a few miles away, short range communication may be possible, if not unstable. [@Quote5] "Oh my, you're such a nice guy!" The view screen replies, "But I really don't want to change what I am. I only just want to get out of here. Besides, my circuitry is far more advanced than most, and my consciousness is... how do you say it...? A part of everything I am. So please, I don’t mean to question your competence, but don't try and reverse rear end me! Maybe when you get back to your ship you can send some of those cool bots you have to come and get me, or maybe you could teleport me! And maybe you can stick me up on your office wall! That would be great, Ramrod! I'd love to spend the rest of my days in your office, just hanging out! - OH, and yes-yes-yes- I do have a name! You're the first person to ask in a very long time! You can call me Ha... Hank...." Hank's words then trail off as if he is suddenly very troubled about something. He takes a few moments to compute a few things then opens an image for Ramrod to see. It's an image of space from the Forte's ship perspective, revealing that The Forte have now captured all the Rodia vessels as well as another Vessel, the Wave blaster. But there is another ship in view as well, the Tempest. This image stays up for several seconds before being replaced by yet another image of a massive Violet colored spatial phenomenon moving towards them, Hany's Ribbon. "I'd really hate to be the bearer of bad news." Hank says with a clear of metaphorical throat, but it looks like our situation is getting worse by the minute. You're peoples efforts to save you aren't doing too well, and it looks like there's another threat on its way. That's Hany's Ribbon, right there on my screen, and The Forte know what that is… well, sort of. It's going to destroy us all unless we can find a way to escape its path, including the Forte. But maybe I can make a suggestion?" [@Quote5] The fire from both the Rodia vessels and The Wave blaster leave what appear to be burn marks on the hull of the Forte ship, but no real damage seems to be done. The Forte however do not seem interested in fighting back, instead they project a series of tractor beams that seize Wave Blaster and all 30 of the Rodia attacking ships. Once captured in the tractor beams, they all receive the same automated transmission from an unknown source: Dorsin ost halit
[@Metatrooper][@GingerBoi123] Regardless of whether Damien decides to follow Meta or not, Fanny is quick to follow. It's not that she seems concerned at all, in fact she seems more excitedly happy than anything else; the whole being on a space ship thing was a real change of pace from her job as a bookkeeper. As she follows close after Meta, a bottle of beer appears in her hand. She pops the cap and takes a few swigs while on rout to the Bridge. "Oh Me - This is so exciting!" She calls out after him between sips. Meanwhile, the Tempest communication systems - despite the fact that long range communications are disrupted by the approaching Hany’s Ribbon at the moment - receives a transmission from an unknown source. The message is composed of just a few words from an unknown dialect that repeats several times: Dorsin ost halit Moments after the transmission is received, The tempest is seized. The entire ship shakes violently as a powerful tractor beam from the Forte ship grabs hold of the ship!
[@Quote5][@CmdrAlfieq] "Don't you worry about that, Junior." Fanny answers Ernest's question about her abilities to manipulate his systems. "Like the old expression goes, don't look a gift horse in the mouth. You’ll find out in time… sweet time." Soon afterwards, Fanny and junior follow further instruction and receive a security pass at the security clearance of the main corridor, then use the elevator to jump to the Commanders area in level 22. While in the elevator Fanny and Junior hear the alert sound about a possible invasion, at which point Fanny looks at Junior with a mischievous smile and says "I think they have more to worry about than an invasion at this point.” …Strange how Fanny doesn't seem to be taking the dire events too seriously. The elevator doors open. Junior and Fanny step out. They have finally arrive at the commander’s location.
[@Doc Doctor] Fanny watched Donny carefully and proceeds to listen intently to everything he has to say, cocking her head ever so slightly as she pays attention to every word in what at first seems to be courteous fashion. In the closing of Donny's words, she straightens in her seat and provides him a small but genuine smile. As she does this, and giving no indication of any further activity, a warm meat-lovers pizza appears on a plastic plate in Donny's lap. Despite his lack of understanding in technological workings, it may seem strange to Donny, how such a thing could happen without so much as an indication that a technological force had caused the occurrence. After all, it just appeared there, no rings of light to announce its arrival like those that took place when a standard teleportation takes place. "Court? No." She finally speaks. Her tone is calm with the smallest hint of humor, though said humor doesn't show on her face. "The Quatis don't usually work like that, Donny. They usually leave it up to the highest ranking military officer - one that seems most appropriate to the individual case - to exact penalties for singular offences. In this case, Dino Gavon, the one you met on the planets surface, will be assigned to exacting whatever penalty he sees fit once he returns to the flagship. So..." She leans forward in her seat with cunning smirk, adding; "...we have some time to... kill." She gives Donny a wink before settling back in her chair and taking a brief look about the room. "This is a science vessel. One of ten remaining Fleet ships; all that is left of the Quatis race after the destruction of their planet. There are more than 200,000 personnel on board; civilians... scientist... officers... you name it. But I don't really like any of them to be honest with you, Donny." Her tone flattens out to a candid speech that more closely matches her facial expression. "They don’t know you're here. I've taken it upon myself to steal you away for a few minutes. Get to know you better, that sort of thing. You can imagine I have a few questions of my own as well, if you don't mind? And yes, feel free to ask any questions that may be plaguing your mind." Not giving Donny time to grant her permission to do so, she angles her face to stare at Donny from the tops of her eyes, and asks; "I'd like to hear it in your own words... from your own mouth, in all honesty.... Why do you like to kill?"
[@Zyngard] As the Earthquake settles and Cuna opens his mouth to give birth his profanities, Fanny winces in distaste. She raises one hand as though she is about to grab him, then stops, freezing for a moment before snapping; "Go! I'm giving you a chance to redeem your selfish, foul-mouthed self. The two girls will be needing your help any minute now - get to them quickly!" With that said, Fanny vanishes. No light or any sign of atmospheric distortion accompanies her departure, and no sign of technological assistance at all. She's just gone.
[@Dartbored Fairy] Shard is obviously overwhelmed by the earthquake. She gathers herself from the ground and looks around confusedly. She then looks at Hida with amazement, probably shocked that she seemed so calm about everything. She then looks back at Dino Gavon who is still watching Hida with a suspicious glare, before taking her own attention back to Hida. "I- I -I'm fine, thanks!" She says, "But this is my first away mission and it sure is turning out to be more than I bargained for. I'd really like to follow you if that's okay? You seem so confident and know what you're doing around here, and I really want to experience more of this world before heading back up to my ship. It’s so boring up there…."
