Leo Karter

The Beholder
(To fit in with the other players, I tried making this a bit fancier than what I usually do)
Age: 19. Gender: Male Species: Human. Appearance: Karter is a short, leen man. He stands just over five feet tall, and his muscles are small but well-defined. He has short, messy black hair, with a very well-defined moustache for his age. He has tanned skin will little hair that's not on his head. He generally wears a simple and surprisingly durable suit consisting of a brown button up shirt, a black vest, and simple black trousers. They'd look pretty nice if he didn't have a tendency to get them dirty. His most notable feature is his right eye: It has been gouged out and replaced by a magical crystal. This crystal is round and smooth, and it's color can change (see abilities) Abilities: Karter is pretty darn strong for his size. Not supernaturally so, but he can keep up with people much larger than himself in strength. Most of this abilities come from his magical crystal in his eye socket. His eye can change colors, and which color it is dictates what it is doing. He has pretty good control over what his crystal eye does. Using any color other than black is tiring and in some cases painful, so he avoids using it when he can. He won't hesitate if he thinks it'll be helpful though.

Black: Dorment.
Red: Emits a laser from his eye which he can point in any direction not inhibited by his skull. It's not powerful enough to do any large-scale damage, but it can be used to distract people, temporarily blind someone (if his aim is good), play with cats, that sorta thing.
Green: Grants him limited telechanesis. He can manipulate anything with a 3 yard radius that he could pick up with his normal strength. However, As soon as he starts using it, he starts getting a headache that slowly becomes worse. After about a minute, the headache becomes so bad he has to stop using his power or risk passing out.
Grey: Makes him a bit stronger than normal, and immune to pain, at the cost of a hangover-like feeling about an hour after he starts. The longer he uses it, the worse the hangover.
White: Keeps him awake, no matter how sleepy he is, or what magic is used on him. The only downside is that it easy to overuse, meaning he can wreck his sleep cycle or something.
Orange: Greatly increases his regoration rate. He can't regenerate lost limbs or anything, but any cut or injury that would normally heal heals MUCH faster. Biggest downside is that it makes him darn hungry.
Purple: Vibratrates. Not particularly helpful.
Special Weaknesses: Aside from basic human weaknesses and the downsides to using his power, he can not see out of his crystal eye, which obviously limits his range of vision and makes depth perception difficult. Plus, it looks kinda weird, which'll might freak some people out. Weapons:

Bayonette: A bayonet that broke off of an old gun at some point, and had some leather wrapped around one part to turn it into a knife. In addition to being a staby-staby knife, it can also be used for other, more practical (and less violent) knife needs.
Revolver: As old revolver. Strangely, he doesn't have any bullets for it.
Items:

Monocle: A nice looking monocle that doesn't get much use, since Karter has perfect vision in his good eye.
A bag of money: a bag of silver coins. They aren't to local currency, so he isn't sure how much it is worth. But he should get a good exchange rate.
Journal: A small book for journaling. The cover is made out of leather, and has his initials inscribed on one side.
Quill and ink: self explanatory.
Backstory: Karter honestly doesn't remember much of his backstory, that crystal knocked a lot of memory out of him. He knows he grew up reasonably wealthy, and was a bit of a troublemaker. While he doesn't remember why, he is at one point attacked by a wizard who jammed the crystal into his eye, the last memory he remembers. He doesn't know why he is on the ship. He just woke up there on their way to Trios: An unintentional stowaway. Throwing him overboard seemed cruel, so the captain reluctantly let him stay. Other: nothing else comes to mind.
