So is this more of a fantasy type deal or more Age of Piracy in the Caribbean kind of thing? Or is it a mixture like say Pirates of the Caribbean?

Regardless I had an idea for a treasure hunter. A more roguish but decent type who’s always after some sort of treasure. I was thinking of giving him an animal friend since he is an animal lover. Is that aright? It would be like a simple monkey or something. In the game he first came from, (an old rp) he had a giant eel as a friend but I wanted this one to be simple.
