Though on the short side at a mere five feet in height before the augments, now she stands a foot taller... it was more heroic, she felt. Unlike standard models, which spared no thought for the host's psychological well-being or any attempt at maintaining their original physiology, the Mark IV NAA can sport a much more human profile, thanks to its slightly modular design. In the 'civilian' configuration, she looks more or less like an ordinary, albeit attractive woman from a short distance. However, on closer inspection her flesh is clearly synthetic from the neck down. Slightly 'off' coloration from her natural fair tone coupled with seams here and there for the plating. She sports what some might describe as a perfect, curvy figure, but that's to be expected, after all. She designed it that way. Her spine appears to be obviously mechanical as well, tough polymer plated segments running down her back. She tends to dress professionally most of the time, wearing a sort of one-piece bodysuit at other times. The combat configuration differs greatly, however. Most of her synth-flesh is replaced by composite armored pieces, with her lower torso clad in a polyester-like ballistic fiber instead to save on weight. An armored rigging fits over her shoulders, with a sort of 'core' visible in the chest. While it's not the 'actual' Fusion ENgine (which is located directly inside her torso, rather than in the outer plating), this is the capacitor bank for storing the energy for her combat augments. The plating is a smooth white polymer, a bit lacking defensively but light enough for her purposes. Her limbs are a bit blockier as well, but still capable of fine tasks. 'NOVA' is printed on her left thigh-plate in black stencil lettering, Her serial number NAA-0735 on the right. Her thrusters are visible on her limbs and back as a series of softly-glowing vents, the back-mounted ones looking almost like wings of energy. For aesthetic purposes she wears a heat-resistant scarlet scarf as well. Before one gets any ideas, she made sure it would simply come loose and be lost in the event it got snagged on anything. Finally, her face is the same no matter what, obviously. She has soft, round features with innocent deep blue eyes and deep red, fluffy hair tied back in a loose, bouncy ponytail. She looks rather cute most of the time, but her penchant for almost devilish grins sort of ruin any hint of angelic sweetness. She almost always looks like she's scheming, or plotting something, and she is. There's a million ideas running through that head of hers, and not nearly enough time to consider them all. The only hints of augmentation in her face is that on close inspection her synthetic flesh is perfectly smooth, too smooth to be natural (Though more convincing than her body's flesh... perhaps it was difficult to produce?), and what appear to be integrated glasses. The lenses slide out over her eyes, and can be darkened should the need arise, usually in combat.
[sub][ ◈ ] A B I L I T I E S // S K I L L S // E Q U I P M E N T[/sub]

LSS Nano-Augmentation Armature Mk. IVc: Already the most advanced augmentation suite ever produced by Lotus Security solutions, the design has been greatly modified and customized and is without a doubt Dr. Albrecht's greatest work. All of the basic systems present in prior versions of the augmetics are present: Nano-repair systems, enhanced physical aptitude, AR information processing, Neural uplink, as well as being far less gruesome aesthetically. Yes, unlike prior models the augments don't confer any sort of 'inhuman' profile, allowing one to live a mostly normal life, should they choose. The most distinctive feature of the Mk. IV is the 'Vertigo' system, a series of retro-rockets woven throughout the armor, allowing for incredible mobility and the highest land speed you can get without having a supersonic jet or the speed force. Thankfully, the neural augments help the host cope with such incredible velocities as well as they can. While it does technically allow for true flight, using the boosters in that manner outside of zero-gravity environments is rather taxing on the Fusion Engine. Fusion Engine: Speaking of the Fusion Engine, this miracle of engineering is the only power source LSS has developed that can hope to rival the Void Reactor. While unable to replicate the spacial warping capabilities of the original, the Fusion Engine equals the Void Reactor's power output, for the minor drawback of very rarely requiring fuel. That said, it would take several years of strenuous use to wear down the reactor enough to urgently require more fuel. Otherwise, it works in a similar manner to the Void Reactor, in that while it provides functionally limitless power it cannot generate power faster than all the various bells and whistles can use it. Unlike the Void Reactor, the Fusion Engine can be recharged by simply waiting, no need to leave yourself open to recharge the thrusters. That said, it doesn't charge quite as quickly. Normally that would be all, but May's personal model is greatly enhanced with additional tools and parameters. Over the basic model the Mk. IVc has slightly enhanced physical attributes, an improved reactor that supplies more power and faster, and expanded capacitors that allow her to use her systems longer. Her arms have a very versatile suite of various tools integrated into them, and she has the knowledge to use them. Things like screwdrivers and the like, but also an arc welder and a cutting torch. While quite taxing on power, her thrusters have been tweaked so that, should she choose to she can fire bursts of concentrated, burning plasma through them rather than use them for propulsion. However, this is only usually used on exceptionally strong individuals as the plasma is far too lethal on ordinary humans for her taste. Hardlight Generator: In her left palm there is a device mounted that can create constructs of solid light, akin to those from the rings employed buy the various Lantern Corps'. Similar, but distinctly weaker. Her constructs are merely geometric shapes, usually sharp hexagonal panels. These have a number of uses, from barriers to a form of throwing star, a far cry from the 'basically whatever I want' that a lantern ring provides. They are a potent defensive tool however, as they can be partially autonomously controlled by her augments' operating system, constantly swarming around and blocking lesser blows, or discourage close combat with a hail of blades. They also have an important interation with her primary weapon. Lance: A small, revolver-like pistol, the lance fires powerful beams of energy. Though slow firing, the weapon is accurate, powerful, and also boasts a low-power mode that makes the weapon mostly non-lethal. It runs off the suit's power, the cylinder actually a collection of eight batteries bound together. When all six shots are spent, She simply holsters it and her suit rapidly swaps it out with a cylinder in reserve, charging the spent one in the meantime. Shots fired from the lance actually reflect off of her hardlight panels, allowing for truly absurd displays of marksmanship should she have the opportunity to set it up properly. The beam can be overcharged by draining each chamber in the cylinder at once, though this is typically only done if facing an opponent too resilient for the standard shots. However, when used on a specifically shaped hardlight prism the overcharged shot can be split into a great many shots at once. It should be said that she has two 'kits' so to speak. What was just discussed is her 'combat' kit, with all the offensive functions, though she has a separate 'civilian' kit, which lacks any of the mentioned functions above. It mostly consists of a set of separate limbs and torso pieces, which serve little purpose beyond being body parts. As it turns out, one doesn't need rocket thrusters all of the time. Just most of it. These kits require dedicated facilities to swap between the two, as well as up to twenty minutes of time. Apart from the wondrous abilities of her augments, May is a metahuman blessed with enhanced intellect, memory, perception, and reading comprehension, enabling her to master a great many scientific and engineering disciplines at such a young age. She was also rather fit, though not superhuman physically, but as the augments have replaced most of her body that is now a moot point. She also owns a Van. While outwardly appearing to be a normal vehicle, her van serves as her base of operations. She customized and in some cases jury-rigged it to work as a mobile repair-station, powered by a second, ramshackle Fusion Generator she managed to cobble together from various stolen parts as well as a bit of her own reactor fuel. It's certainly a temporary measure, and allows her to maintain herself until she can find some kind of... patron. Moreover, while she was a bit on the wealthy side ever since control of Lotus Security Solutions was stolen from her the bulk of her funds are unavailable to her. That said, she had a much smaller emergency account she has access to, though she has to spend her money carefully lest they find her. Finally, though comparatively mundane, she is fluent in a great variety of languages. English, German, Russian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic, and Latin (Mostly for academic purposes). Given a month or two and decent learning materials, she's perfectly capable of learning an additional language. That said, there's not much cause to, the odds of being completely unable to speak with anyone in a given area are very slim.
[sub][ ◈ ] L I M I T A T I O N S // W E A K N E S S E S[/sub]

While certainly a wonder, her augments are not without limits. While tougher and stronger than an ordinary human, these areas fall short when compared to more bulky mechanical foes and physically-inclined metahumans. While she can repair herself in a manner akin to regeneration, it is not nearly fast enough to have any impact in a fight. She has to stay mobile to survive, rendering her susceptible to anything fast enough to outmaneuver her. Like earlier models power is still a concern, even with her modifications. She can't boost around and shoot lasers forever. While potent and adequate for her purposes, her weapon lacks in raw destructive power, meaning she's less able to combat overwhelmingly powerful threats on her own. While intelligent, there are plenty of gaps in her knowledge, many of them her own fault. While she can learn and study incredibly quickly, she suffers with motivation at times. Fields like social sciences and economics bore her to tears, leaving her with very little knowledge on the subjects. This came to bite her hard when she founded her company, only to mismanage it so badly as to basically have it swept out from under her. Finally, the system is not very well shielded against electromagnetic energy. While interference can't shut her down, it will play merry hell with her information and targeting systems, making it harder to make the most of the Vertigo drive.
[sub][ ◈ ] B I O G R A P H Y[/sub]

'Nova' is hesitant to speak about just where she came from, though one with a bit of an academic inclination might recognize her name as belonging to a woman who made waves a few years back in the field of cybernetic augmentation and then more or less disappeared from public consciousness soon after. Additionally, she seems to be relentlessly pursued by a pack of augmented goons, possibly legion affiliated. Perhaps one might need to get to know her to learn more.
[sub][ ◈ ] N O T E S[/sub]

May is based out of a small, modified Van for the most part, driving from place to place to evade pursuit, hesitant to attempt any sort of call or give off any kind of signal lest her pursuers find her. That said, she inevitably ends up attracting them anyway when her damnable conscience acts up and causes her to go play hero. Craig more or less is pointed somewhere rather vaguely, and causes as much violence and mayhem as he possibly can.
[sub][ ◈ ] A P P E A R A N C E[/sub]

Craig is certainly an intimidating figure to behold. While he stands at a colossal seven feet in height he is almost disturbingly thin, almost skeletal. His body is clad in a thin, armored carapace painted a matte black, though in between the plates one can see silvery metallic plates, some wiring and tubing, and wires that glow with a purple light. These wires all lead to a large, similarly glowing core in the center of his chest. All of these lights seem to flare brighter or dimmer depending on the state of his power or if he's using his abilities or not. His entire body is mechanical from the neck down, long overwhelmed by the almost constantly spreading machinery. At the lower end of his neck one can see where the flesh gives way to metal, tubes and wires burrowing into his scarred flesh with no effort made to hide it. It's not known whether it was originally designed this way or subconsciously molded by Craig's desires, but every part of the design screams 'evil', from the color scheme, to the way the torso resembles a rib-cage, the generally unnatural shape, the sharp, talon-like fingers, so on. While he doesn't sound very old, he seems to have been aged by the machines, his face showing wrinkles here and there and his dark hair showing signs of graying out. His features are rather square, and certainly give the impression that his head belongs on a bulkier body than his sharp, skeletal form. While certainly not the Joker, he has quite the sociopathic grin on his face most of the time.
[sub][ ◈ ] A B I L I T I E S // S K I L L S // E Q U I P M E N T[/sub]

LSS Nano Augmentation Armature Mk.0 "Vortex": The original prototype in Lotus Security Solutions' line of combat cybernetic systems, the Vortex Armature was created with the intention of creating a new breed of soldier, one that could decimate their enemies through control of space itself, all at minimal risk to the host. In theory, anyway. By default, the body offers several advantages. Namely, the nanite swarm is capable of cannibalizing matter to repair even the most grievous of damage, albeit very slowly. A lost limb could be restored in a day, likely. On top of that, host is Stronger, faster, and hardier than a normal individual, though not on the level of metahuman aptitude in these areas. The system is capable of integrating with the host's nervous system, supplying vital data and control over its more esoteric functions at the speed of thought. Additionally, there are plenty of small utility functions that don't greatly influence combat so will go mostly unmentioned, such as a simple integrated multitool in the arm and a number of very small compartments for storage. Void Reactor: The heart of the system, and the source of its true power. Literally. The Void Reactor runs off Dark Matter, and could potentially provide power for millions of years, even with the very small piece provided as fuel. While the device produces unlimited power, however, it does not have a limitless transfer rate. What this means is that while it provides more than enough to keep him alive, He may need to take a short break for his batteries to be recharged should he use too much of his power too quickly. Thankfully for him, he is capable of greatly hastening this process if he stops and devotes all of his processing power to that end. Unfortunately, he is very vulnerable during this short window as he must hold still and make a dedicated effort to recharge. Distortion: The Vortex Armature is capable of distorting the very fabric of space itself, leading to many interesting possibilities. It is capable of short range-teleportation of the self(and anyone holding onto him), localized alteration of gravity, and even alterations to force and velocity. There are limitations to this, but a few examples of the possibilities distortion provides: Walking on walls and Ceilings. The aforementioned teleportation, as well as the creation of portals that anyone can use. Fine control over the projectiles from his weapons: Redirection, adjusting velocity, combining them with portals, so on. Levitation, and an admittedly slow form of flight. Autopistols: A pair of integrated projectile weapons, the Autopistols essentially fire a rapid barrage of shards of crystallized dark energy from the Void Reactor, meaning that while he may have to pause between volleys he never really runs out of ammunition. They are somewhat inaccurate and heavy on the recoil when fired normally, but with distortion they become deadly accurate and the enhanced fortitude and strength makes controlling the recoil easy as pie. While there is no real lock on them, as the void energy is required for the weapons to fabricate ammunition only Vortex can reload them. The projectiles are far, far slower than conventional firearms, but far deadlier. On colliding with matter the crystals shatter, releasing a deadly burst of dark energy. On subsequent impacts matter is slowly drained of its color, organics becoming unresponsive and stiff, before simply crumbling into a gray powder. With that said, inorganic matter takes a great deal more shots to harm than organic matter does, leading them to be most effective on armored targets. Additionally, organic matter will slowly recover if it hasn't outright 'crumbled' yet. Finally, these two weapons can be combined into a long-rifle form. This weapon is capable of firing a highly concentrated beam of dark energy capable of ripping through most surfaces, but it is very slow-firing and a glutton for power. It's best used for dealing with heavily-armored or inanimate targets that the pistols would struggle to dispatch. The weapon can also be overcharged to fire an orb that on contact collapses into a small, localized black hole. It is exactly as devastating as it sounds, but using it leaves the system in an overheated state that precludes the use of all of his abilities for minutes. While it is mostly a desperation attack, it was distinctive enough to be the source of the system's name. Craig himself has several skills, notably some sort of special forces training, but from where nobody can really say, records no longer exist. He also already had keen perception before being augmented, which helps him to make the most of the systems.
[sub][ ◈ ] L I M I T A T I O N S // W E A K N E S S E S[/sub]

While powerful, the suit has several limitations. The suit's power supply, and Sniper mode's horrible energy efficiency and the overheat on using the black hole projector have already been discussed, but there's more. While certainly better than an ordinary human, the suit doesn't improve his physical capabilities much beyond. While he doesn't need to sleep, eat, or drink (Though these things are still possible), he's not much more durable than a regular human. He can't push over buildings, and ordinary firearms are still very dangerous to him. He makes up for this by being very difficult to damage in the first place, but compared to his peers he could be considered fragile. And while he can repair himself, it takes a great deal of time, time he might not have if he needs to escape. The distortion effect, while potent, can also only be used on things specifically designed to work with it. Meaning, they basically only work on himself. He can't teleport other people without portals, he can't crush them with gravity or manipulate mundane objects such as crates or bullets. And while portals can teleport others, they require a lot of energy for living things, and he cannot put them within any sort of mass. Meaning he can't cut people in half with them or simply throw portals under one's feet... unless they haven't stepped in it yet. The one exception is that if someone holds onto him, they travel with him when he teleports, meaning he can't escape bindings this way. Attempts to teleport when attached to a mass more than twice his size always fail, as well. Another thing to keep in mind is that when one fights him for a while they may notice that his movements can be predicted. When he vanishes to teleport, it takes him roughly a second to actually reach his destination, which is always heralded by a low thrumming sound and visible distortion at the area of his arrival, akin to heat waves. Less subtly, the Void Reactor apparently becomes disrupted when exposed to Blue Kryptonite, shutting down when anything more than a fist-sized chunk of it spends more than ten seconds near it, causing him to enter a more or less catatonic state to save power on life support until they are separated. Craig is unaware of this deficiency, as is the system's designer.
[sub][ ◈ ] B I O G R A P H Y[/sub]

Craig's dossier is a bit of a mess, owing to its hasty destruction. What follows is what can be pieced together. Originally a somewhat violent, aggressive special forces operative, Craig Winters (If that's his name) was dishonorably discharged for friendly fire and sentenced for murder. Rather than face prison for murder, he was used as a 'disposable' test subject for Lotus Security Solutions, a military R&D company specializing in cybernetics. However, upon interfacing with the untested system for the first time they had underestimated his inner rage, his bloodlust. Effortlessly breaking free from his shackles upon his first activation, he tore through the facility, slaughtering researcher and security goon alike. Terrifyingly, he managed to override the failsafes in the armature's programming through sheer willpower alone, leaving him free to more or less smash his way out of the facility and into the wild... LSS denies all knowledge of him of course, his entire origin covered up in a massively successful... er... cover up. Though now, it matters not how he came to be here, only how to stop him.
[sub][ ◈ ] N O T E S[/sub]

Craig has no real significant interpersonal relationships, as he mostly just lives to destroy. He is 'Loyal' to the Legion of Doom in the sense that they give him many, many opportunities for wanton destruction. So while he mostly just does what he feels like he'll follow their orders, because in his twisted eyes they've never steered him wrong. While occasionally he works 'with' other Legionaries, he pays them no real mind. Which works out, as most of the people that are ostensibly his allies can't stand him either.
