Ilyssa: Kludd ended up going to save the kid who fell in the void, which I thought was a bit bothersome, but as long as the kid didn’t slow us more I’d leave him be. I moved forward into the area behind the wall. There was little to no light shining through from the outer room, so I had to rely on sound and feel to not die. A shout came from the darkness, causing me to jump. Turning, I saw a scrawny boy hug Kludd, who grew both ears and a wagging tail. I let them have their tearful reunion before shouting to get their attention. “You guys can canoodle all you want later, but I suggest we first find a safe spot. We’ve already had one person fall into an invisible trapdoor here before, who knows what else could be lurking.” I usually wouldn’t care, but right now, a guy with enhanced scent could be useful. Facing the others, I motioned to the darkness. “Does anyone have any source of light?” Robo boy, I’m looking at you.
