Anybody who's gone outside in the past decade knows Mark Eckhart. Founder of a little company that soon became a massive one, Eckhart specializes in creating magic based products. Infuse just a touch of magic into a Keurig, and you've got yourself a coffee machine that always gets your drink the perfect temperature. Or a blanket enchanted to wrap you up just right. Little things, that people just eat up. The Eckharts capitalized on the rift, and the Humans acceptance of magic. But that's not the story you care about.

Mark Eckhart, and his wife, Julia, raised Amelia to be a winner. She was tutored by the best, trained in magic from an early age, while also learning different languages (Spanish, Swedish, and Japanese), violin, and piano. Amelia was given the best, so that she could be the best. Never mind the damage that can do to a young girls psyche. For Amelia, Washington is a place where she can find herself. Her freshman year was spent tentatively testing the waters of freedom, but she's ready to be her own woman, instead of just Mark Eckhart's heir. [/indent][/indent]
