Hmm. This Batman, specifically? Probably a 30-year-old Richard Armitage. Coincidentally, aside from Fassbender due to his established role as Magneto, those actors are also who I hope Matt Reeves is at least looking at for his Batman movie. After two and a half movies, I'm ready to see Affleck retire the role. He just doesn't seem to be having a good time, and I've never really bought into him as Batman anyway, given that most of the actors to have played the role didn't have huge careers prior to being cast. All I could ever see was Ben Affleck in a Batman costume, given he was a veteran actor/director when he landed it.
Luke Evans looks too swarmy for me and Jon Hamm too old for what the rumors have been saying is going to be a Year One movie. Honestly have no idea who I'd cast, but I feel as though Bats needs to be played by someone who can pull off classically good look but also have enough gravitas and roughness to him to be the Dark Knight.
