[sub][b][color=39b54a]Appearance[/color][/b][/sub][hr][indent]Gerald is a rough-n-tumble boy with dark black hair, turquoise-blue eyes, and sports a healthy tan, while riddled with scratches and small scars across his body. He's very active and has a fit body that shows, however he lacks the apparent muscle. He's not picky when it comes to wearing clothes, rather he's perfectly fine in wearing a solid-colored shirt and cargo pants, although he can occasionally be seen in a hoodie on colder nights. He is 5'5" (1.65 meters) tall and weighs in at 124 lbs (56.2 Kg).[/indent]

[sub][b][color=39b54a]Personality[/color][/b][/sub][hr][indent]Gerald is a friendly farmer's boy who is always very open towards others. He loves to spend time outdoors, especially with friends or his dino pal Bucky, yet is always cautious about his surroundings and on the lookout for danger. He is also very knowledgable about the creatures that he encounters, usually to the point of acting much like a nerd, as many often describe him as a walking encyclopedia. He balances as a person who is both active and curious about the world around him and is always up for a good adventure. In addition, Gerald is also very protective of Bucky and often tries to encourage others that not all dinosaurs are bad and that some can become great friends and/or guardians.[/indent]

[sub][b][color=39b54a]Background[/color][/b][/sub][hr][indent]Gerald was born to a shepherd who owned a ranch just a few miles south of Amberstone. His father oversaw the population of regular livestock such as cows, sheep, and chickens, while also owning a small collection of herbivorous dinosaurs, most of them being hadrosaurs, ornithomimids, and a handful of small sauropods like Amargosaurus. While he owned several herding dogs to sort out the modern animals living in one part of the ranch, he had to find other more impressive creatures to keep the domesticated dinosaurs at bay. After arranging a deal with a nearby ranch, he was able to catch ahold of four ceratopsian dinosaurs to act as shepherds for the dinosaurs, keeping them in and keeping predators out. There was a Regaliceratops named "Margret" (oldest), a Sinoceratops named "Sho", a Chasmosaurus named "Casper", and a Diabloceratops named "Bucky" (youngest). They were brought into the ranch when Gerald was three years old and he immediately became interested in them.

When he became older, he'd often hung around the ceratopsians, either grooming, feeding, and/or talking to them. However, he'd become close friends with the Diabloceratops, whom he named "Bucky". The two had grown up together at an early age and the two became nearly inseparable. Wherever one went, the other was almost certain to follow. However in one instance, a nine year old Gerald was out forging for berries in the nearby forest, when he was suddenly attacked by a gang of [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austroraptor]Austroraptors[/url], which rivaled the size of the more famous Utahraptors. However, before they could inflict serious damage on Gerald, Bucky, who happened to be outside escorting a group of [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olorotitan]Olorotitans[/url], heard the boy's cry for help and came to his aid and fended off the attackers. This strengthened their relation even more, with Gerald being thankful that he came to his aid in time. 

The two still stick together to this day and rest assured they support each other until the very end. And they never go and forge outside Amberstone alone, using Gerald's quick thinking and Bucky's incredible strength to tackle through any problem they face against.
