Rowan is a pessimist who knows the world to be needlessly cruel and such he responds in kind, snarky and easy to dish out spiked words to those who cross him. Having endured countless mockeries since childhood for the lack of a familiar or any astonishing talent, he has grown to be independent, diverse and used to being alone. He used to be truly kind and gentle when he was younger, but society is never kind to those virtues alone. In this world, you need might to back up ideals. Years of living deprived of any honesty with himself has given him two masks which he wears to function normally in society, a mask of smiles, of a mild mannered nice guy, of someone ...normal.

With anyone who does not impact his education or career directly, he relents and becomes a little more expressive of his asocial opinions.

Rowan Hydeson Hillwright, born of the Hillwright Witch clan who revere nature and all it's denizens. The backbone of reknown animal/familiar right's group and vegans with strong financial backing, PETAF.  He was Raised through parents who wanted him to be a Veterinarian to work in their circle once he graduated, yet harbouring disappointment that their son could not manifest a familiar even at the age of 21. They treated him colder by the years, crueler, till he had to go to college to just be away from them. They were fanatics who were all too ready to shirk humanity, had he not left then he too would have gone as insane as they were.
