He didn't exactly like his school uniform...but why not wear it? It helped reduce confusion for his teammates as well as the judges. Most of it was, however, covered by the trench coat he slipped on as he left the room. He'd adjusted the uniform with his own personal touches: elbow pads, knee pads, greaves. He pulled his gloves from his pocket, slipping them on as he walked down the halls towards the arena area. He both liked and disliked these tournaments. Liked, because it gave him opportunity to learn about the nature of other student's powers, and help develop his own. He disliked them because there were so many people. Walking around in the back rooms under the stands eventually gave him headaches from all the mental energy congregating in the area. Now he headed to the field, fortunately not having acquired a headache yet. He entered the field area and felt better already. The breeze blew past him softly, rustling Samoth's hair that wasn't covered by his camouflage ACU cap. He joined his St. Laurels companions, standing behind them. He scanned the area, observing the actions of allies and other schools alike. He'd been thinking about possible teams that they'd have to face, and who would be the most problematic for him and his teammates. He did so again now. He didn't have too many students to worry about, but there was one in particular. Bak. She was an issue for him. Her flurry of rounds had always been an issue for him. She could shred through his shields in little time, and she was too heavy and armored for him to do much damage physically. Not to mention her weapons were physical- he couldn't negate them. He's have to rely on someone else to take her down. Andreim started some kind of speech, turning to his fellow students with rallying words. He held out his hand. Samoth considered taking it. He did so with a gloved hand. It would create tension between his teammates if he did not because it would seem rude, and they didn't need any more to worry about than they already did.
