He's grumpy, and the trigger for his power makes him effective, but very very dangerous. The "Coalition Critics" have constantly used Ethan as a prime example of their arguments. Honestly, Ethan wouldn't blame them either. Getting angry is what he does, and to reach the strength he needs for a job, he needs to get angrier. The power and the rage feeds each other, and it makes Ethan scary to the public. It's more fact than opinion that Tarus is dangerous on the field, however it has been documented of him stopping rubble falling on civilians or using his strength for protection rather than full on offence. To the team, some of them know that Ethan does mean well but it's hard for him to shake the feeling that not only everyone is scared of him, they hate him. It's what makes him a bit of a grump around the base, and often is the voice of cynicism of the group. He provides a truthful yet bleak outlook and opinion to those who might seek it, although they probably have no reason too. The man of honesty to others and to himself. He's often seen working out and training more often than not. Although, what else can Ethan provide apart from his pure strength and determination? Except Ethan doesn't go huge and green when he gets angry. That's the short version of it. Ethan's power is the ability of Super-Strength. He has some degree of this all the time, but it really shines when he gets angry. Taurus's strength stems from how angry he is. The more rage he builds up, the more strength he gains. It's a rather vicious cycle that Ethan has to keep in check 24/7. The actual limit on this is unknown, but one fact is. Ethan is susceptible to losing control and this allows the beast inside come out to play, which was only seen once before the mysterious stranger that killed the Mayor showed up. This event also lead to Ethan temporarily losing control. Ethan can usually bring himself back, but sometimes it will take the other members of the Coalition to bring him back, maybe even by force. This is known as his "Blood Rage." Ethan's veins visibly bulge when he uses his strength, and are very pronounced in his rage. At the same time, the veins have a red glow to them, but the glow is at it's brightest in Ethan's eyes, which would be entirely engulfed in a crimson glow when he's in his Blood Rage. His body also enlarges a little bit, making him bigger and bulkier in rage too. His cells are also remarkably strong and somehow are way faster at working than a normal human. They visibly stitch back wounds together and knit broken bones back to shape. Although sometimes long term injuries aren't as instant as a small cut or something similar to that. Sometimes he has to focus the healing to react to multiple wounds at once or a heavier wound, meaning he can't really do much in the meantime. Also it isn't known whether or not the healing factor could go as far as growing back a limb, for example. Skills & Techniques- [list] [*] Rubble Toss- Ethan will tear off a piece of building or concrete to throw at a target from great distances. [*] Seismic Stomp- Ethan creates a shockwave with a mighty stomp that can throw enemies around him up into the air. [*] Incredible Jump- While Ethan can't fly, the dude has got mad hops. Winding up his legs, Ethan can leap great distances and land with a considerable impact. [/list] [u]C O M B A T[/u] Ethan enjoys fighting, probably a lot more than most of the Coalition. After all, it's what he's good at. He has no qualms in showing off his strength, often charging or marching straight towards the enemies head on. His punches are slow and heavy, a massive slugger in terms of his hand-to-hand style. Force over finesse for sure. However, he does have a responsibility he wants to uphold, something Nathan drills into Ethan constantly. Don't let yourself stoop down to their level, or how are you better? While he tries not to use lethal force, it's obvious that Ethan wouldn't shy away if that has to become an option, but only if he's sure he can let loose without hurting innocents. His [url=https://imgur.com/a/2X5EQ2Q]superhero costume[/url] was especially made by Austin to expand seamlessly to Ethan's size, and is incredibly durable. A sleek grey and black sleeveless suit made out of a tough nanofiber material that uses carbon bonding to keep it knit together. The suit has the insignia of a bull proudly displayed on the chest, something Ethan is quite happy about. Out of hours, Ethan usually wears very simple things that are comfortable. Workout clothes include sweatpants and vests, and his "business-casual" is simply a t-shirt and jeans. Formal wear is never usually on the agenda but if you have to you might be able to get him to wear a shirt and tie, although it would be like giving a cat a bath. Outside, he usually wears a hoodie to hide his face. Although being recognised is nice, for Ethan it's a whole different ballgame. If he's recognised, people usually cross the street or try and confront him if they're one of those assholes. [*] Ethan can come across as quite stand-offish, and he's certainly stubborn. [*] Another famous trait is his temper, which has caused him to butt heads with Nathan a couple of times. [*] While he may not always agree, Ethan is loyal to a fault and has always got your back. [*] He's a bit of a grump, but sometimes he can show off his more caring side. [*] Rash is almost the always the first word you'd use to describe him. First to rush in, and the last out, especially when it comes to fights. [*] His confidence in his fighting abilities shine through. Without a doubt, Ethan believes he is the best at what he does- knocking heads together. Ethan was adopted into a home with no semblance of care or love for a child. A 'father' who was drunk off his ass more often than not and a 'mother' who preferred to whore herself out for drugs behind her husband's back than raising a child. It made him wonder why they even adopted in the first place. The father seemed to resent Ethan more often than not. His attitude at school and penchant for getting into fights meant that he was no favourite among the students or the teachers either. The only people he's ever truly cared about is the Team and the people they've been charged to protect, even if some of them don't care back.
