All of them being the most beloved of those who call themselves royals. There has never been a Spectacular who wasn't invited to perform in the hallowed halls of the rich and famous. All except for one particular boy. Severus Symphony Spectacular the 3rd. In truth, it begins before he was born. When Severus Symphony Spectacular the 2nd performed for a family known as the Vetromillas. The day he performed, was the day of the birthday of one of the eldest of the Vetromillas family. The only problem, the boy was unreasonable. He demanded songs from foreign islands that Severus the 2nd had never even heard, much less knew existed. In an outrage, he challenged the family, and was exiled. Left on a small raft in the ocean, he nearly starved, until finding a small island that he crawled upon, and was saved. He married, and had a single child. That child became the father of Severus Symphony the 3rd. That young boy, hearing about how his grandfather once played in the great halls, yet by the time he was old, the 2nd could no longer play his music. But he could do one thing, and that was teach. He took his grandchild under his wing, and began to teach. But Severus' father saw this as a fool's trip. Instead, he took his son, and taught him the way of machines. How to construct sails for vessels, and cannons for ships. But instead, Severus became interested in the mechanics of something like a piano, rather than those of a ship. He continued to learn from his grandfather in secret, and in the day he would work on ships. The years crept by, and finally, he completed what he considered a masterwork of craftsmanship! A device he called the Kapellmeister. The mechanizations of a piano inside a single staff. Each year, the town would host a musical contest, and that day, Severus went to preform. He was only eight when he stood upon that stage. And he wouldn't have traded it for anything. The melody he played was gorgeous, and a trained symphony that his grandfather had taught him. It was then when he finished that he was approached by a wealthy man. That man wished for the young boy to play at a celebration to welcome a visitor to their small island village, as they were there for important business. That visitor was Kane Vetromillas. The son of the man who had banished Severus the 2nd. Unaware of this, the young boy presented his music before him, and the royal was amused. Until he finally asked for the name of the boy who had played for him. Hearing the name of the young child, he laughed, and dismissed him as a fraud. For none of the name Severus Symphony Spectacular could possibly be of the talent to play before royalty. Not after the embarassment of the boy's grandfather. In that moment, the eight year old child lost his temper. He watched his island burn, as he drifted away from it on a mere piece of driftwood. Tears streaming down his cheeks as he drifted away towards certain death. But a roving band of pirates came upon him. He pleaded with them. No, he begged for them to save his family, but by then the fires had been burning for a week, and the boy was lucky to be alive. The pirates took him in as a servant boy, that they planned to sell into slavery. He was saved by a single skill. His musical talents. And how he could sweep a crowd off their feet. While pirates treated him well, he was never more than a slave to be passed between them and he traveled on several different ships. Always being lost in some kind of bet. Until finally he settled upon the Red dawn. at this point in the story, he is eleven. After a time though, he found himself in a new position. The Red Dawn Pirates were planning to sell the musical genius, but this time to somebody far more than just another set of pirates. No, they planned to sell him to the Grand Dragons, since a discovery of Severus' heritage had put him in a unique position. Instead of that happening, he escaped, using Kapellmeister as a weapon. The music turned into powerful bursts of sonic energy, tearing apart his bonds, and he escaped, running away and vanishing. His bounty established as alive only by the whims of the Grand Dragons, who desired to have the musical boy as their slave. __________________________________ Abilities: Weapons: The main weapon of Severus, is the Kapellmeister. It has the functionality of a full grand piano, on a stick. As a weapon, it can operate as a fully functional spear, slicing through people as effectively as any weapon. Though the head is a great deal heavier than a traditional spear in that regard. Making it more an overly large Halberd. Techniques: 1st Symphony - Sonic Wail: A powerful strike from Kapellmeister's sonic arsenal. A powerful wailing blast of sonic force that can know people flat on their backs. It can leave victims dazed, confused, and probably rather sick as a result. 2nd Symphony - Sonic Assault: Much like wail, but a directed attack. It can be considered just like a bullet, instead of the shockwave that 1st symphony is capable of.
