Alright, I've got a mostly-done sheet here. The last bits will be added in when I'm feeling less wiped from work (which may take a couple days as I work again tomorrow).
Name: Althea Dos Santos. Alias: Bailaora. (Althea has a keen sense of irony.) Appearance: Althea is a fairly boxy young woman, standing at 5'6" and around 150 pounds, with a fair amount of that being muscle. She has a wide face, medium brown skin, small, dark eyes, a heavy brow, shoulder-length, black, slightly wavy hair, and a wide, flat nose that's been broken at least once. She looks like a Los Lados thug, essentially, and for the most part, Althea embraces that, and the image it provides, though she's not part of the gang herself. She doesn't tend to wear dresses, preferring more utilitarian stuff like tank tops and jeans, and never really understood the point of makeup. In contrast, her voice is a little scratchy, but otherwise surprisingly mellow and pleasant to listen to. She has several scars, including a nasty one on her face that runs from her right cheek, up the side of her nose and onto her forehead, and wears them proudly. The most notable of them is her prosthetic arm, which is unpainted and a little rusty in places, but otherwise well-maintained. It is also definitely a bootleg arm, but it's not like you can find an actual MER Corp. prosthetic in the Wards. Personality: Althea gives off the general impression that she'd rather be somewhere else, all the time. Not because she's uncomfortable, necessarily, but more because she seems like she has something else to do, an urgent errand that cannot be left undone for another second. Accordingly, she's rather uptight and curt, saying what she thinks needs to be said, nothing more and nothing less. People may often wonder what that mission is, and when asked, Althea will answer with only one word. "Revolution." Althea is single-minded in the pursuit of her goal, which is the eventual overthrowing of Eden's corporate rulers and the establishment of a proper republic, like the world used to have before everything went to shit. She tends to weigh everything in regards to whether or not it furthers her goal or not. This doesn't mean she never rests, necessarily, or is completely objective. She makes sure to factor rest and relaxation into her schedule; can't run a revolution with tired legs and empty stomachs, after all. Outside of Althea's determination to revolt against her corporate overlords, she's surprisingly friendly, in her own rather gruff, quiet way. She's not amazing in social situations, and tends to lock up at sudden displays of emotion, but you can count on her to at least be a shoulder to cry on (sometimes literally). Her most apparent characteristic, though, other than her single-mindedness, is her idealism. A revolution against the various conglomerates that run the city is nigh-unthinkable, yet Althea believes it can be done regardless. With a lot of time, and a lot of careful planning, and with a pretty good portion of luck, but even so, she believes that it's possible. Even Althea can acknowledge that doing it on her own is essentially impossible, however, which led to her joining Ultralight. Ideally to recruit the organization into her revolution, but if all she comes away with is some proper combat experience, that's at least something. History: Capabilities: Years of growing up in the Wards and picking fights with various thugs have given Althea a fair amount of expertise in fighting hand to hand, using whatever's nearby to give her as much of an edge as possible. She doesn't have much of a style, exactly, but she's pretty capable at kicking people's asses. She's... alright with a gun. Hasn't really used them much, but she knows the basics. Equipment: As previously mentioned, one of Althea's arms has been replaced by a (relatively high-quality) bootleg prosthetic, specifically specced for fighting. While as a limb it's not great (uncomfortable connection with her shoulder, heavy, moves kinda jerkily, occasionally seizes up and refuses to move), it does come with a couple of properties that grant it an edge in combat. Firstly, it's quite dense and heavy, making it pack more of a punch than a normal person's arm. Secondly, it comes with what's basically a "rocket fist" attachment. At a thought, Althea can make part of her arm extend in an explosive motion, which can be a nasty surprise if you're not aware of it. She does have to manually reel it back in, which can be a pain, but Althea thinks it's worth it. In a pinch, she can also disengage the locks keeping her hand from flying off, though that particular function's usefulness is... debatable. She's never used it, at least. (Privately, she thinks it's a shame; having a rocket hand is really cool.) Don't bother asking how she got it; she won't tell you. It was almost definitely illegal, though. Other: In her mid-20s. Has a mother and two brothers, who she hasn't talked to for a little while. Last she checked, though, they were all doing well for themselves. Has a sizable sweet tooth, and a surprisingly small amount of cavities to show for it. Gay, she thinks? Maybe? She hasn't really bothered with the whole "romance" thing, honestly.
