Laid out before Andromedai were her sterile surgical tools. They had been neatly organised inside of the advanced medical kit that she carried with her at all times. By now, some of the tools had been stained a dark crimson as they were being put to use by highly skilled and well trained hands. "I no longer need the retractor or forceps, take them away and hand me the medi-gel." said Andromedai to a local C-Sec officer who had been helping her with the surgery. The human female C-Sec officer would do as she was told, swiftly taking away the tools that Andromedai no longer needed and handing her a container of military grade medi-gel. "We managed to stop the bleeding, tend to some of the major injuries, and close all external wounds. We have done all we can for him at the moment, he will need to be moved to an actual medical bay before the more extensive and delicate surgeries can be performed." The C-Sec officer that had been helping her tend to the severely injured human ambassador, motioned with her left at a new comer, joining by their side, producing a hard-light shield that gave them suitable cover. After the man had introduced himself, Andromedai would do the same, using the shield to take quick shots at the hostiles who were now focusing all fire upon the remaining ambassadors. "Andromedai Morgenstern, Spectre with N7 training. Glad to see another N7 around here. As for a hidden exit, I am unfortunately unaware of any." Leaning out of cover once more, Andromedai fired at a new group of insurrectionists who had appeared. There was a blur of movement out the corner of her eye as she fired. Someone or something was moving quickly to the door that was the only way in and out of the chamber for the civilians. Her HUD informed her that this figure was no other than the female Turian, Alria. It was clearly obvious that Alira was going to try and open the doors, and Andromedai quickly opened her com to give orders. "Alira, I am at your south-eastern position, next to the councilors. I'm going to toss something your way to help you get through that door." Reaching into her pack, she produced a rolled strip of high-explosives before tossing them in her direction. "Apply the strip of explosives from the door, move back a bit then detonate them with your omni-tool. Have fun and try not to blow yourself up." Meanwhile, Aviza was receiving information from C-Sec that a large unidentified ship had latched onto the outside of the dome, and that this was the source of where the hostiles were coming from. "The citadels defenses are constantly shelling the ship at the moment, it is only a matter of time before it is destroyed." The voice of the C-Sec officer was coming through her com clearly without any static or interruptions. Aviza quickly chimed back, "If the explosion is strong enough, it could make the situation in here much worse." There was no time for a reply, a blinding white flash filled every inch of the inside of the dome. Lingering partial-blindness would effect those who had been using low-light visual enhancements, but the effects of the explosion would quickly fade away. The hole in the ceiling of the dome where the hostiles were entering had merged with some of the debris of the ship, creating a momentary fix to the hole that had appeared from the hostiles unannounced arrival. "The unannounced visitors wont be returning through that way." said Aviza to herself, looking at what had happened through her high-powered scope. She now spoke into her open security channel so all those upon the security team could hear her. "This is Overwatch, the explosion was the insurrectionists ship being obliterated by the Citadels defenses. The hole that had been made for their entry into the dome has been sealed, they wont be coming back anytime soon." Using her scope to scan the room, she noticed a few peculiar events happening. Some of the civilians were picking up weapons from the dead and shooting at the remaining insurrectionists. There were very few left and it seemed the battle would come to an end shortly. Along side this was the incapacitated insurrectionist that a Geth was carrying over his shoulder. The gunshots came to an abrupt halt as the last of the hostiles were gunned down by either security team members or the bold civilians who were doing their part to help. "Hows that door coming along Alira? We need it open immediately." asked Aviza, using her jump-pack to gracefully land upon the marble look alike floor below her feet.
