Name: Silhouette, Samantha Howard, Sil, Shade Age (Magical Girl): 15 Age (Before Magical Girl): 28 Gender: Female Gender (Before Magical Girl): Male

She is a bit taller than other girls her age but is otherwise fairly unremarkable. Her eyes are a dark brown, but when focusing on utilizing "The Sight" they turn red. She often wears whatever is appropriate for the weather and tries to keep herself from sticking out.

Her eyes are a blood red while transformed ever since she used the Black Coin. Normally, it is merely the color that changes. However, they seem to even glow as she enters her "battle high", a rather eery side affect of the corruption. Specialization: Time - A master of her original specialization, Silhouette's skill with Time Manipulation is rarely rivaled. Each and every basic technique a mage of her kind would employ is perfected, her precision is remarkable, her mana consumption is, compared to other time mages, minimal, and she is even capable of a form of time manipulation that she herself invented. Stasis: A unique form of halting time in which the physical state of something is completely stopped. This makes the subject impossible to alter in any way, although Silhouette is able to choose whether or not the subject can be moved. Utilizing Stasis does not require a continuous supply of mana, but instead needs an "upfront" cost which scales with size. The effect on nonliving objects is permanent. Some applications shown so far include:

Freezing various objects to use as stepping stones to reach the Sky Bastion, which otherwise would have required aid
Creating an invulnerable barrier out of a thrown table during an [s]fight[/s] [s]violent debriefing[/s] friendly chat between Silhouette and Veronica
Utilizing Stasis to change Silhouette's gloves into a passable fake Fist weapon.
Darkness - Nobody would be blamed for being under the impression that Silhouette has had access to the Darkness specialization much longer than she actually has. A combination of natural talent, experience in dealing with the element, tutoring, and tireless training has granted her a familiarity with Darkness that would not normally be probable. She is not yet a master, having a noticeable preference for utility over the offensive application of Darkness. Yet, despite this focus and favoritism towards utility, her most unique use of Darkness lends itself almost solely to an offensive mindset. "Schatten" - A type of clone constructed out of Silhouette's own shadow, and only her own shadow. Because of this, there can only ever be one at a time. It has three "forms" which dictate how it acts and its capabilities. These forms are "Silhouette", "Partial" and "Complete". As they are shadows, they thrive in the dark and are likewise weakened in places without. Strangely, "Schatten" seem to be immune to Silhouette's own timestop and become aggressive towards her if she attempts to do so while they are up.

"Silhouette", ignoring the name, typically acts as a sort of "mimic" in that it performs the same exact action from inside Sil as she just performed, such as a strike or a punch. It can also do its own thing, but never materializes for more than a second at a time and is not capable of using any special abilities.
"Partial", despite the name, is an entire clone of Sil. Its intelligence is rather low, and is rather weak, but can make use of weaker abilities from Sil's Darkness specialization.
"Complete" is the strongest of Sil's clones, but also the most dangerous. Any attempt at materializing a "complete" clone has been met with a sort of failure: They become avatars through which Sil's corruption can act, and as such, they become immediately aggressive to anything and anyone in sight, including Sil herself if there's nobody else "worthy" around. [s]They are capable of most of Sil's own abilities with a notable exception of stopping time, though curiously, they seem to be immune to Sil's own timestop.[/s] To be discussed sometime later.
Weapon: ChronoRend - A shorter blade that has been put into Stasis, allowing it to retain its sharpness and prevents it from being manipulated by others. It is a very simple but effective weapon, capable of being used for silent eliminations or to defend him in a fight, and has proven to channel his mana very well. Scarlet Avenger (Crimson Cradle) - A high caliber sniper rifle that consumes a large amount of mana per shot in exchange for high stopping power. Its special effect is to inflict wounds that cannot heal while it is being used, but ceases any healing on the user as well. Knight Fist (Crimson Cradle) - Dark gauntlets with an acceptably edgy backstory. They essentially Imagine Breaker Dark Magical Girls who wear them, although at the cost of hearing a voice whispering "End it all" every now and then. Powers: Focused Assault - Sil can opt to dump a decent amount of mana into her blade, which can then be used to strike at time itself, bypassing defenses of a foe by cutting everything in the space the time occupied. Regeneration(Gold Coin Spent) - Perhaps it is the result of her new body, perhaps it's subconscious use of accelerated time, or perhaps it's a bit of both. Either way, Sil has a healing factor well beyond anything a human can hope for. Cuts, stabs, missing limbs... none of it really seems to last too long. Decapitation or an exploded heart might be the only way to keep her down for good. Third Eye (Dark Magical Girl) - Nothing escapes her sight, not even the supernatural. A sight beyond the norm, allowing her to pick up on the remains of magic, rituals, and even allows her to identify what she is currently facing almost instantly upon laying eyes on it. She is also able to respond to spells just before they are flung utilizing visual cues and her combat experience. Perks: Enhanced Weapon - Her weapons may look plain, but they do their job execellently. Enhanced Outfit - Despite appearances, her attire can take a beating. Enhanced Transformation - Theatrics don't suit Silhouette very well. She's lessened her downtime between transformation and even protects herself with time magic as she transforming. Martial Training - As someone in the special forces, who became a hired killer due to talent, who also came to work under a deity dealing with war, Sil is very knowledgeable about war, its tools, and how to use them effectively. Incognito - Her prior life allowed for no recognition, and so she's learned how to keep her head down and not stick out from a crowd, making it rather difficult to recall her face in passing. It also makes her outfit somewhat ironic. Gifted(Emergency) - Murder is her talent, and she has proved that her specialization in Time Manipulation was a perfect fit. She is capable of Stasis, a self-made variant of stopping time. Awareness(Emergency) - Details have always been important to her occupation, be they big or small. She is keen on picking up anything out of the ordinary, and, as one who ambushed people for a living, is especially difficult to ambush herself. Patron: Vermilion Veronica and the Crimson Cradle (not a band, at least not yet) Patron Benefits: Vermilion Veronica: Black Coin - Spent rather early on, after nearly being defeated by a powerful monster. It has granted her power, but also warped her personality, too. Non-Exclusivity - Sil seems to be free to work with whomever he so chooses, and so she's chosen. The Crimson Cradle: Top Idol - [s]She did it, boys. Pack your bags, it's all downhill from here.[/s] It seems Veronica has taken a fancy to her, and provides her with things a lot easier and more often than any of her other agents. Seeing this sort of preferential treatment may cause feelings of happiness and glee in another, lesser individual. But not in Sil. Well, maybe a little... Cradle Supply - Artifacts, agents, weapons... Veronica has them all and won't charge for a loan, so long as things are returned in pristine condition. Mid-mission resupplies aren't out of the question either, provided she's nearby. Connected - With both the ability to find a fellow agent wherever they may be and the ability to speak with them at any given moment, team coordination should be easy. Should. Patron Drawbacks: Vermillion Veronica: Debt - Silhouette owes them quite the debt. Hopefully, it is one she can manage to pay off. Betrayal - That the Ebon Mint won't hesitate to remove her if it benefits them has not escaped her. She's used to dealing with people like that. She makes sure not to give them any reason to feel like she's better off dead. The Crimson Cradle Sadistic - To an outsider, the occasional murder attempt from an employer may be a turn off. To Sam, however, it's almost endearing. Given some of the best loadouts, but also given the most difficult of jobs, and critiqued more than anyone else. It's tough love alright. Exposed - Sil no longer has a true private life. Her every action seems to be recorded by Veronica. And much like a certain search engine, nothing escapes her sight. Penance - A tool is thrown away when it has no use. Nothing new or surprising here. Fighting Style: Silent and swift. Silhoette prefers to end her opposition before it has the chance to become a threat to her. Utilizing her skills as a silent killer and her specialization as a time mage, it is not very hard to accomplish this. She can easily sneak up and remove an opponents ability to react through use of magic, and then plunge her blade deep into their neck or any vital point available. A swift, single-hit death is preferred. Of course, that isn't always an available course of action now that Sil's a magical girl and her foes are beyond human. She is prone to changing how she fights based on the type of opponent she has, but generally, she'll play the role of a reactionary fighter and focus on evasion and counterattacking. She is very methodical in how she approaches her opposition and will utilize the environment against them if it is indeed possible. This is altered if she ends up in a fight with somebody especially strong or for extended periods of time, where her perverted bloodlust begins to crack her stoic facade. In these instances, she often becomes the one acting in a fight, using every tool at her disposal to not just beat but wound and maim her target as well. Rare is it that people see any form of actual emotion betrayed on her face, almost as though being unreadable is a fulcrum to her nature. Because of this, one is unlikely to use the word "sociable" to describe the Mahou Shoujo assassin. Yet, as is the case with many people, there's more than meets the eye and the same can be said for Silhouette. She is no robot, even if she wears the guise of one. Irritation, desperation, and even rarely, admiration -- she experiences all of these things and more. But her death-filled lifestyle and both the inability and desire to understand people during her human life have left her rather inexperienced in properly expressing these. And so she attempts to treat every waking moment like she would a job, keeping others at a distance and never visibly expressing interest in anything. And, ironically, she is a perfectionist, particularly when it comes to her job, despite a 'perfect outcome' being more or less an impossibility when it comes to assassination. At least, her definition of that is, as no matter how well she may do, she always finds some fault, something that did not go as well as it could have and constantly criticizes herself. While this does lead her to always seek to improve, she also never seems to be happy. It's a vicious, perhaps never-ending cycle made worse by the fact that she's plagued by a mental affliction courtesy of the Black Coin she'd used earlier. Having to fend off urges to lose herself to some foreign entity in her mind has only given her more reason to be critical. It should be noted, however, that she's come to realize some things about herself she did not once know before. Potential hobbies, potential interest in others. These things, while foreign and unfamiliar... may just spark a huge change for her in the future. As to whether they are positive or negative changes... well, that remains to be seen. History: Silhouette had originally been a middle-aged man who joined the military out of a lack of any real desire at the time. He turned out to be exceptionally good at killing things, proven when his talents led him to be accepted into a special forces unit of an undisclosed name. However, feeling that there wasn't enough profit to be made working for his country, he later turned to a less legal means of employing his skills: contracted killing. Clients varied, but all were wealthy. He cared not whom the target(s) were, only that he would be compensated appropriately for the task. And so, many people lost their lives to his blade and the promise of coin, be they man, woman, or even child. It is because of his lack of discrimination that he finds himself where he is today. He carried out a contract to kill a family that included a husband, a wife, and a child who hadn't graduated highschool. A silent killer, it had seemingly gone perfectly with not a sound made on anybody's behalf, although shortly after dealing with the child he had learned she was more than had met the eye and that things could not have gone too much worse. A... thing appeared. Something that wasn't normal. A monster, of sorts. It began rampaging through the neighborhood he had just been in, and apparently, the person supposed to deal with it was now dead. He ended up being the only one to ask, and not wanting to die or perhaps because he felt he was in a dream, he accepted. Granted new abilities, it did not take him long to remove the threat, but now he had a debt to pay. Apparently, that very magical girl he had eliminated earlier had belonged to the Ebon Mint, and they weren't exactly happy with what had happened to their tool. Learning what they where and their influence on the world, he decided against making an enemy of them, and has worked to pay off a debt, but ended up incuring another due to severe circumstances. He is currently working under a lesser-known deity. Incantation: "I am a blade. A blade knows no fear. A blade knows no doubt. When faced with my enemy, I hesitate not. Magical Girl Transformation!" Additional Info:

Name: Emily "The Cataclysm" Ackerson, Lucifer Age (Magical Girl): 15 Age (Before Magical Girl): 15 Gender: Female Gender (Before Magical Girl): Female

Specialization: Fire - Raw, destructive, and overwhelming power in the form of beautiful turqoise flames. When bearing witness to the untameable fire she controls, few dare to question her capability. Extremely simple, yet even more so effective, if one's goal is to incinerate something. Heat Drain/Vision - Particularly gifted as a Fire-user, Emily can sap flames or heat from the surrounding area, converting it to mana for her own use, so she benefits highly in areas she can set ablaze. She is also able to see heat signatures. Weapon: Purgatory - Gauntlets with a demonic appearance. They glow a bright blue and act as a focus for her magics just as good or perhaps even better than any rod or staff could. They also allow her to strike foes that enter melee range, or to defend her from blows. Power: Barrage - Excelling at dealing damage in an AOE, Emily can quickly dish out many smaller blasts and fireballs at enemies. And, should she desire, she can turn up the heat by causing her attacks to detonate shortly after being thrown. Clustered foes just make her job easier. Cleansing Conflagration: Daystar - Emily drains the surrounding area of all heat, and dumps all of her mana into Purgatory, taking a pose with her arms extended. As the surrounding area becomes colder, the gauntlets becomes brighter and brighter until it becomes impossible to even look at her. Finally, she launches a huge beam-like blaze out of her gauntlets, which incinerate anything in its path. Perks: Gifted - Able to use Heat Drain/Vision. Dual Weapon - Her weapon, Purgatory, not only allows her to smash foes, but also helps her cast spells. Purification Artifact - A small, hand-made doll that, while cute in design, can keep ward against monsters when charged by the cleansing property of Fire. Blood Magic - By dedication and will alone, Emily is able to sacrifice her own life force to keep fighting, even when she's run out of mana. Overcity Shift - Sensitive to the presence of the Overcity, Emily has learned how to willingly enter and exit the place. Which has proved helpful in lowering collateral damage on occasion. Get Out of Jail - There are cases where it is more beneficial to retreat than stand your ground. Knowing this, Emily has an escape plan, though it's not perfect. Enhanced Weapon - Strong enough to deflect blows for her, and an incredibly good conductor for her magical powers, Purgatory is a fine weapon for her. Patron: Type: Puchuu Name: Jonald Patron Benefits: Job Satisfaction - She can't help but feel delighted each time she slays a monster. Mystic Might - Despite their conflict, Emily can still tap into extra power from the Puchuu. Mana Font - Read above. Patron Drawbacks: Hostile - Jonald is not a friend of Emily's. Misinformation and rumor spreading is the norm with him. Expendable - Emily is nothing more than a tool, as far Jonald's concerned. Vendetta - Oddly, Jonald is apparently capable of caring for someone, just not Emily. He loathes the Ebon Mint. Fighting Style: Unmatched power. Lucifer prefers to incinerate her foes by blasting them with flames and is especially good at clearing waves of lesser monsters. If something doesn't fall to her blasts, then she simply needs to hit them again and again until they do. In the case of close-range combat, she uses Purgatory to deflect blows and will more often than not use the time bought to retreat to a safer distance. That said, she can still do some damage if retreat is impossible. Unafraid of incinerating people who get in her way! Cruel, sadistic, and selfish!" A passionate girl with a fire in her heart that can't be put out, Emily often grabs the attention of everybody around her with her brash, arrogant tone and confidence that she has in spades. She has an indomitable will and refuses to back down when lives are at stake, making her, in a way, a rather ideal magical girl, but most of her positive traits are overshadowed by her sadistic tendencies when dealing her foes. She is known to taunt and talk down to her foes while she burns them to ash, and unfortunately, this tends to feed into the narrative that she is a heartless monster herself, when really that isn't the case. Her priority is the protection of those who cannot fight for themselves, and the eradication of the monsters that would harm them. She wishes nothing more than to help create a world in which people do not have to live in fear of such beings. And because of this, she believes conflict between magical girls to be both pointless and detrimental. She considers each and every single magical girl a sibling of hers and is always willing to help one out, even if most may be afraid of her false reputation. She genuinely feels pain when one of her sisters dies, and is willing to give all girls the benefit of the doubt, despite knowing that some magical girls simply aren't good people. When she is out of costume, Emily is almost an entirely different being. She loses her spunk and becomes a rather amiable, soft-spoken person. Her benevolent tendencies are highlighted, as she adopts a more maternal figure role, and she actively avoids instigating any violent conflicts. Most people tend to find it difficult to believe she's the very same brash girl. History: Emily lived with her parents and sibling until one fateful day when a small furry creature appeared and desperately asked for her help, as its magical girl had been seriously injured and was in danger of dying to the monster she was fighting. She had never considered herself brave or heroic at the time, but the sight of a poor girl fighting this danger alone had tugged at her heartstrings and she accepted, becoming a fire-based mahou shoujo. She succeeded in saving the other girl and thus her new life began, and though she could no longer speak to her family, she came to feel rather content with her job with the help of her new friends, blissfully unaware of the true nature of her patron or how the world worked, thinking her job to be nothing more than a dream come true. And though she now knows better, a part of her wishes she could've remained so ignorant. Regrettably, after some time hunting monsters and protecting the innocent, things came crashing down one by one. She had kept tabs on her old family every so often, but found them dead after an untimely monster attack on their neighborhood she wasn't able to prevent. The damage was, thankfully, quite minimal since another mahou shoujo had defeated the monster, but unable to even avenge her old family, she found it difficult to come to terms with the situation. But things only escalated from there, as before she could even finish mourning for her loss, her partner was killed. Only her patron seems to know exactly what happened, but apparently it was the Ebon Mint's fault and the Puchuu had decided it wanted revenge on the organization via the murder of its agents. One could only guess that the creature had a genuine attachment to the now-deceased magical girl, as it became rather blinded by this desire, which caused conflict between it and Emily when she refused to attack other magical girls unprovoked. Things only deteriorated from there. She learned her patron Puchuu was a horrible, wretched existence that wasn't beyond petty things like rumor spreading and misinformation. Her idealistic, perfect magical girl world had started to crumble from that point on. But still, she continued to do her best to remove monsters wherever they may be. Even when the rumors had gotten to the point where a lot of her 'sisters' would avoid her like a plague. Despite the constant attempts to mislead her and get her killed by the very patron that made her into a magical girl. It has been a long time since she started her career, so one might consider her a veteran compared to most magical girls. Still, she fights on. Incantation: "I am the Star of Morning, the Child of Dawn. The Star thrown down to the Earth shall obtain victory!" Additional Info: If it wasn't apparent, Emily was a bit of a chuuni in her old life. Emily calls her Puchuu Jonald out of spite, it's not the Puchuu's real name.

Name: Hilaria Age (Magical Girl): 17 Age (Before Magical Girl): Mid 20’s Gender: Female Gender (Before Magical Girl): Unknown

Her hair is extremely long in her human form and in contrast to her rather conservative appearance in her transformed state, she wears comparatively little clothing when she can, whether or not it is in good condition or not. Since she is rather prone to doing reckless things even in her human form, she is often covered with bandages and forgets to take them off even if the wound has healed.

While the strange dress-like armor and the ribbons don't exactly inspire fear from first glance, the juxtaposition from the bloodstains and the disturbingly bright yet twisted expressions she makes might. Aside from her armor, the most notable change from her human form is the shortening of her hair and the tips of each strand that almost seemed to be dyed red from blood.

As she succumbs to true madness, her armor almost seems to be corrupted along with her, emanating an ominous purple haze and turning a similar color. Also, it twists to accommodate her new features -- it gains a helmet with openings for the horns she sprouts, as well as spiked gauntlets for her claws. Though it is often quickly hidden, beneath the armor she grows fangs. During this time, her eyes glow an unsettling golden color which can be seen through the visor. Specialization: Gravity - As she is not as magically-inclined as other girls, she avoids going overboard with her use of Gravity. That said, she is as experienced as one can be in the specialization, able to use it in any manner a typical user could. She does not commonly use it to directly attack, preferring to use it as a supplement instead. Things such as reducing her weight so she can move faster, increasing an opponent's weight so they're slower, or even increasing the weight of an attack so it hits harder are all things she can be seen doing. Weapon: Mars - What appears to simply be a scutum. Naturally, it excels at blocking attacks. Though Hilaria wields it with apparent ease, it is rather heavy and thus can be used for blunt shield attacks. If she so desires, the shield can morph around her hands and become huge gauntlets that allow her to pummel enemies. As with her armor, it seems to be bloodstained. Vulcan (G) - An odd weapon taking the form of a Spas-12 with what seems to be the head of an axe attached to the underside. Thus is can be used both chop foes to bits or to blast them away at a moderate range. Still, the weapon is most effective in any scenario when it is in close range. Power: Third Eye - Hilaria's special eyes allow her to detect magic, among other unnatural things. This allows her to properly identify and respond to spells being used by enemies, or to find Overcity entrances. Regeneration (Dark Magical Girl) - Healing at a degree not possible by every magical girl, and a side effect of her corruption. What damage she takes is soon healed by her power, and even injuries like missing limbs are only temporary. Fueled by her corruption, she is essentially stitched back together via small black tendrils that extend from the wounds, pulling the wounds closed. Recovering from serious wounds is often accompanied by the unnerving sound of bones snapping back into place and the spurting of blood. Perks: Dual Weapon - Hilaria's shotgun, Vulcan, is also part axe. Her shield, Mars, can turn into a fist weapon. Enhanced Outfit - Her armor provides excellent protection against most attacks. Big Damn Hero - Hilaria can manage to arrive at the last moment to protect a person or a location, provided she has gifted them with a special curiosity in the form of a gold shotgun shell she has personally made. Interdimensional Home - A small studio in a pocket dimension Hilaria has access to. She has decorated the walls with a few weapons from different ages, such as swords, shields, muskets, and assault rifles she has put into cases. It resembles a mini barracks more than anything. Monstrous Metamorphosis (Contract) - Provided there's enough emotional stimulus, Hilaria may enter a berserk state where she becomes more powerful at the cost of rational thought. Patron, Benefits, and Drawbacks: Solo: Free Agent - She is not obligated to stick to any one faction, so she is capable of being hired by anybody with the coin and the desire. Physical Prowess - She is built tougher than your average magical girl. Alone - Because she has no faction to call hers, she doesn't have anyone to depend on but herself. Mana Starved - Her physical strength and preference came at a price -- her magical skills are lacking. Fighting Style: Brutal and unpredictable are the two best words to describe how she fights. She is a physical attacker with both high defense and high attack, and is suited best for close-range combat. She has a couple different ways she can approach any given situation. Typically, her first instinct is to use her scutum and shotgun-axe in unison. Vicious strikes from her axe, unpredictable blasts from the shotgun it is attached to, and an incredibly strong defense from her shield make head-on assaults a scary idea to most. Though certainly not lacking in offense, this approach is considered a very defensive one, and though she is able to provide quick, agile blows, she is rather slow to pursue or move long distances. Her other method of fighting would be to transform her scutum, Mars, into a fist weapon, often also forgoing Vulcan, though not always. With this method, she pursues her foes with reckless abandon, putting her all into offense. She’ll throw relentless punches, grapple, and smash with gravity-empowered attacks that can create cracks in the ground. She is also more prone to allowing herself to be hit by an attack if it’ll give her a chance to return the favor, and has on more than one occasion lost limbs because of this. She would fit the role of a tank or bruiser rather well, if one were to label her. With, perhaps, a side of berserker. She will go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure she accomplishes this goal, which would make her a rather reliable girl to befriend. ...were she sane. Many factors, such as age, literal corruption, and traumatic experiences have taken their toll on the girl’s sanity. She is a disturbed individual prone to incessant bouts of laughter, mood-swings, spontaneous, irrational conclusions, and a general misunderstanding of the commonly accepted definition of the word ‘save’. To her, saving could mean eliminating someone trying to playfully roughhouse, to ‘save’ you from being hit. To her, saving could mean eliminating an item of sentimental value or importance, to ‘save’ you the need to look after it. To her, saving could mean eliminating a small, famished dog, to ‘save’ it from the misery it surely would go on to suffer. Hilaria is almost incapable of denying a request from help from anyone, a trait that can and has been abused. She will aid a blatantly evil horror girl as quickly as she’ll help a member of Beacon, though she will not do so if it conflicts with someone she has already promised to help. In this odd way, she is rather loyal. The biggest problem, however, is that she doesn’t always help someone in the way they want to be helped, with her ‘help’ often leaving the person worse off than they were before. To be ‘saved’ by her is a risk someone must be willing to take. This said, she does not always work for free. She justifies asking for compensation by concluding that if she were to perish, there would be people she wouldn’t be there to save. If it is an organization, such as the Beacon (as unlikely as it may be) or even a horror, she will demand to be paid. In a casual scenario, she exhibits the traits mentioned in the first paragraph, but she can seem oddly calm and collected at times. Though her mind is not sound, she is not a dim-witted girl, though she is gullible. Aside from literal monsters, she will approach each and every single person with a bright smile, as she does not discriminate between factions, as stated earlier. It is possible that, in her own odd, deranged way, her heart is in the right place. But it very clear that her mind is not. History: As far as she’s aware, Hilaria is the oldest living magical girl. Her life has spanned a millennium, and her experiences are many. To list every single memory she has ever had is an impossible task, as with the passage of time has come the discarding of many moments of her life. The entirety of her human life, bar the moments leading to her contract with a Puchuu, have also been lost to time. What she remembers, or at least a short summary of it, is that she had one point been a naive young magical girl with aspirations to protect all of humanity. To this end, she worked tirelessly, removing any magical threats to humans that she could. In the end, however, she was betrayed by both the parties she worked for, and her very own ideals. A short clarification of the events described above: She originally sought an idealistic world where no humans had to die untimely deaths. She vowed rid the world of their biggest threats. However, Hilaria witnessed various wars and had begun to understand that the greatest cause of human deaths was none other than humans themselves, and thus an internal strife was set on the burner for years to come. At a later point, she had courageously gave her all in a fight against a particularly mana-rich monster, which burst upon its death. Caught in this blast, Hilaria was subject to an influx of a tremendous volume of mana, which corrupted her. She did not become a monster girl herself, but she found her allies at the time, Beacon, abandoned her. Betrayed both by her ‘friends’ and her very own ideals, her psyche deteriorated over the centuries. At some point, she settled on a new goal: It was impossible to save everyone, but she would save anyone she could. Though it seemed like a natural, noble goal to accomplish, by this point she was no longer what many would call “sane”. “Saving” had many definitions, by her book. Most of them are… unpleasant. Incantation: "In my hands, a weapon to save those who need to be saved. In my heart, courage to stand up to any challenge. And in my path, blood shed by those who would impede it.” Additional Info: Her exact age is unknown, but going off of the armor she recalls seeing humans wear shortly after she was contracted, she was likely born at the beginning or just before the First Crusade. That said, she seems to have some fascination with Rome and the Greek Gods, going off her naming scheme. Though normally her age would suggest she should own power unrivaled by other magical girls, she never remained loyal to any single patron long enough to gather that sort of power. What coins she did obtain, she frivolously spent on changing aspects about her -- her initial form was much different than the one she has nowadays.
