[@Stern Algorithm] While your concept's a good one - testing Synchronization potential from a young age and grooming someone to be a Coordinator does seem like something the project might have tried - I do have some qualms about your bio. Firstly, the most obvious issue is that the starting premise for this RP is an academy setting where inexperienced rookies will be training to become pilots, and eventually end up having to shoulder the burden of becoming the next generation of Valkyrie pilots and "heroes" of the Confederation before, perhaps, they're entirely ready for it. However, your character is essentially already a veteran with years of combat experience, making it a bit odd that she'd even be in the academy. If she was going to be re-deployed, she'd likely just be assigned a new, experienced partner. This brings me to the second issue. Namely, that it doesn't really make much sense why she'd be "reassigned to engineering" at all, let alone when TCs are already rarer than pilots to begin with. One would expect her to be removed from duty to recover from her injuries - mental and physical - and then hopefully coaxed back into service, rather than being shunted permanently into a completely different program. And, speaking of TCs and PCs, although some level of psychological trauma is fully expected from operating a Valkyrie, in almost all cases, pairs who have worked together for long periods of time come to view each other as extensions of themselves, and experience calming sensations when in contact with one another. As such, if her partner were to snap, while it's not UNTHINKABLE that he might attack her - for example, if he was trying to commit joint suicide, or if she got in the way when he was undergoing a particularly aggressive episode and he lashed out at her without thinking - it does seem extremely unlikely that he would deliberately target her given the extreme tendency for synchronization to inspire overprotective behaviors. There's also another issue. Namely, the Valkyrie Project may have been desperate at points, but to my knowledge they never stooped to the level of the Ascendancy and started dealing in child slaves/employing child soldiers. If you're particularly set on that part, then perhaps something a little less... well, cartoonishly evil, for lack of a better term. Maybe she was given over to the project as a ward and used to test TC development over a long period of time, without seeing active duty. Something like that might give her an air of "experience" - in that she's used to initiating synchronization and interfacing with Valkyrie computers without actually having her be a veteran of the war with no real reason to still be in training. Having never actually had one single designated partner before might also give her some measure of "trust issues" with regards to wholly dedicating herself to any partner she might be assigned to now, if that was what you were planning on deriving from the breakdown of her partner in her existing backstory. And, if she was, say, a civilian caught in a bombing or something and needed extensive cybernetic replacement, that could explain her robotic hands without the need for some kind of elaborate mental breakdown and being attacked by her own partner in the first place. Of course, all of these things are just recommendations, and if you'd rather try a completely different backstory instead, that's fine by me. I'll gladly review it when it's done. I'd also encourage you not to think of this as a rejection, since it's clear that you're a good writer, and your character's personality and attitude could definitely contribute a lot to the overall character dynamics of the RP. I just think that your current character concept is basically at a different stage of development from the rest of the cast, and as such, doesn't really fit with this RP as it stands.
