Here are my characters.

I. Physical Profile. Name: Miseri. Physical Age: Variable. True Age: As old as the concept of misery. Gender: Female. Race: Demon. Subspecies: Spirit of Sadness. Description:

In her most common form Miseri is most frequently described as "Eerie". While being a facsimile of a human her appearance is highly unearthly. She has eyes which are far larger than normal, no nose and a lipless slit for a mouth. Her skin is paler than snow and her face only really varies between two states of emotion. When disinterested she appears gloomy and bored, her eyes half lidded and often looking off rather than concentrating on anything in particular. When she is interested in something her large dark eyes will fixate on it unblinkingly. She neither smiles nor frowns, only ever maintaining a listless neutral expression. Physically her common form has the consistency of a marshmallow. While her body maintains a similar stiffness she possesses no bones, her entire mass consisting entirely of a homogeneous soft white substance. She holds no blood, no bones, no bile or even brains for that matter. Her body is unicolor and soft no matter how deep one digs. It doesn't even seem like the laws of physics hold any sway over her form as her body operates very similarly to that of a ghost. Her feet do not touch the ground as she simply flies freely about, her limbs can twist and distort however she wishes, she can pass through walls and even disconnect from parts of herself at any time. Parts separated from her will simply float in the direction they were last moving until they simply fade away. Her dress conforms to neither the flow of the wind nor the pull of gravity, simply swaying whichever way she wishes it to. II. Mental Profile. Personality: The name Miseri is more than just a creatively derivative stage name. It is one letter away from being quite literally the very thing she is made of. There is nothing in the world that brings her joy. She lives in sorrow and her only motive is to wallow in the sorrows of others. To feed on sadness is her sole purpose, everything else serving as simply a means to that end. Despite being an entity founded upon a single emotion to serve as the fiber to her being she is not without preferences. While accustomed to servitude she definitely doesn't care for it, much preferring to pursue her own interests. In addition she holds herself to a certain code of conduct that she takes very strictly. When at work her dependability varies based on how concerned she is with the nature of her job. If she feels she's serving only the needs of others she'll be quite lackadaisical, doing only as much as she must and frequently letting her interests in another's despair steal her attention away. When her job directly benefits herself in either the short-term and/or long-term she'll behave far more professionally, becoming far more serious and goal-oriented. Regardless of the nature of her business however she is always quite muted in personality, soft spoken and calm like a quiet whisper upon a still lake. No matter whether she's bored and disinterested or fascinated with someone she's always soft-spoken, never raising her voice or acting out in big displays. Likes: Sadness, the essence of her existence. Rain which falls like tears from the sky. Grey clouds which hide the sun away, bathing the land in pallid light. Cold winds and snow which leech the warmth of happiness all the way down from the very bones of it's victims. Autumn, the season of fading to remind that life too must inevitably reach it's end. Tears, saline born of sadness not unlike Miseri herself. Ruins which serve as painful inspiration for much of the lingering grief that remains. Hide & Seek. She's always seeking yet she always chooses to hide. Freedom with which to seek out even greater forms of despair. Company, the one thing Miseri loves. In truth she likes nothing but she favors these above other things. Dislikes: Happiness, her antithesis. Sunshine which brings joy and vibrance to the land. Spring, The season that brings hope and love to all but herself. Optimists, those who would turn a blind eye to the woes of the world. Smiles of joy or mirth. Warmth that brings comfort and happiness to it's subjects. Fools who aren't able to get the job done. Those that would steal away her freedom for their own ends. Solitude for sadness has no meaning if there is no one to feel it. Fears: Having her soul devoured by another demon. Her sister. Hobbies: Spying on others & Contemplating how best to depress. Secrets?: "Any unspoken truth is just a secret waiting to be unkept." Outlook on life: "I weep for each leaf that passes on from the tree but never more than I weep for the future of the tree itself for it is dying." Affiliation: The Benefactor. Analyze Magic {Z} (Instant): This spell allows the caster to learn all the properties of any spell that is rank Z or lower. Only works on a single spell of the caster's choice per cast. Ward vs Scrying {Z} (Ward): This warding spell protects the caster from magic used to detect and/or remotely view them. The amount of magic this ward is able to negate is proportionate to the amount of mana invested in it upon casting. Lasts for a duration determined upon casting. Mana cost escalates in proportion to the duration determined. Ward vs Demonology {Z} (Ward): This warding spell protects the caster from arcane magic tailored specifically to effect demons. The amount of magic this ward is able to negate is proportionate to the amount of mana invested in it upon casting. The duration is determined upon casting, increasing the mana cost even further in proportion to the duration that is set.

I. Biography. While Miseri was not the first spirit to be born of pure sadness she wasn't far off. Little is known of Miseri's past. She's seen many eras past, the rises and falls of many kingdoms past. Being a more passive creature she's largely gone unnoticed by the forces that be. It was only in recent times when she was forced into the service of a particularly ambitious young demon that she started rising to greater notability amidst the demonic hierarchy. After the demon's death she was once again free to continue living on as usual. And then the apocalypse happened. It was a rough time for her. Humanity was rife with despair but with so many demons loose she had to stay hidden so she didn't end up getting caught in the conflict. While a being as ancient as herself had plenty of essence to sustain herself for a very long time being unable to freely sample people's woes at her leisure bothered her greatly. When the humans started seeking shelter in magically protected cities it was starting to look like she might actually run out of places to find nourishment. In the long term starvation was a real possibility. Then The Benefactor approached her with an offer. Now she works towards a common goal.

I. Other Information. Despite holding a Z in Magickal Proficiency Miseri holds little interest in magic for the most part. She only learns spells that are strictly necessary for her continued operation in an ever evolving world. Her sister is named Anodyne. Much less is known about her.

I. Physical Profile. Name: Geppetto. Physical Age: N/A. True Age: 30. Gender: Nope. Race: Demon. Subspecies: Puppet. Description: Typically standing at only three feet tall this small terror looks a great deal like what he is: An evil puppet. His features tend to be rather menacing though this can often change depending on the body. Often he'll have junk stuck in in place of missing parts, making do with what he's got. Overall he's a jittery maniac, often fixed with a devilish grin, especially when he's scheming. What he wears is extremely variable as he goes from disguise to disguise with great rapidity II. Mental Profile. Personality: An easily excitable demon with big dreams and a lot to prove. He's easily characterized by his lust for glory and his love for human pop culture. He'll go above and beyond to gain any measure of fame or recognition. He tries to think outside the box, trying things which either fail or succeed spectacularly. No matter what he does though he is no subtle fellow. His excitement and desire for recognition well exceeds his capacity for manipulation. That's not to say he isn't aware of some hard truths. Living in hell and surviving through the apocalypse as one of his strength meant knowing his own relative mortality well. He's kept well to the shadows and he is quite sneaky when he needs to be. He doesn't much care for hiding himself however, preferring to be the center of attention when he can seize it. Since humanity's final days had dawned on them he's mellowed out a bit. It's not to say he's had any dampening for his love of explosions but with how much everything's been ruined he's eased up on his love of destruction for destruction's sake. Murder and mayhem have given way to purpose and grit in this dark new age of mankind. Likes: - Guns. - Explosives. - Action Movies. - Horror Movies. - FPS's. - Praise. - Crazy Schemes. - Winning. Dislikes: - Bullies. - Being Scolded. - Being Laughed At. - Romantic Movies. - Getting Bored. - Failing. Fears: - Demon Lords and any demon significantly stronger than him. - Having his past ratted out to those he's trying to impress. - Loneliness. Hobbies: - Coming up with evil yet impractical schemes. - Playing with guns and explosives. - Watching movies. - Making new bodies for himself. Secrets?: While it's not private knowledge down in hell he tries to keep a firm lid on his history. Outlook on life: "The whole world can't be wrong, right? Then I just gotta convince the whole world I'm the best!" Affiliation: The Benefactor. Moral Alignment: Chaotic Neutral. III. Statistics. Willpower: B. Faith: C. Mana Capacity: B. Magickal Proficiency: D. Physical Competence: D.

I. Active Abilities. Smuggler's Pockets {B}: On any outfit Geppetto wears he will always have pockets. These pockets may operate like normal pockets when used by anyone else but he is able to use them to reach into a personal sub-space storage to retrieve items of choice. His pockets when active are able to stretch out to the circumference of a sewer manhole cover and can hold up to a shipping container's worth of occupied space. Master of Disguise {B}: This ability grants him the power to conjure forth any disguise he wishes. The disguises come with clothing, makeup, fake prosthesis and props. The props only function to mimic their real counterparts in aesthetic. He can don these disguises instantly, spinning in a blur before quickly appearing in his disguise of choice. A Gifted Doll's Transience {S}: Given the conditions behind his animation Geppetto possesses the ability to leave his body and inhabit a new one provided the new body is intact enough and has no soul of it's own. Upon leaving his former body it will de-animate, becoming just as lifeless as it was before he took it up. The body he moves to must be humanoid in shape for him to be able to properly control it. If the new body he moves to is enchanted with magic the magic must be weaker than his mana capacity or it will bar his entry. If the magic has a will of it's own the mind that drives the body will be decided by whichever one of them has the highest willpower. The party with the weaker willpower will be rendered incapable of thought until the body is destroyed at which point his soul will be disentangled from the magic and vice versa. II. Passive Abilities. Reassembly Liner {A}: Given the nature of his existence he can replace parts of his body with most non-living materials with fair ease. If he loses an arm he can reconnect it and it will resume functioning like before. Regardless of material it will animate no differently than his original limbs however their durability and weight will play into account. Parts that were previously operational like guns or other devices will continue operating as they did previously instead of serving as the limb it's replacing. He will however have control over the device attached as he would a living limb. The more damaged a limb becomes the less effectively it will perform. III. Boundary. No.

I. Acquired Magick. None.

I. Acquired Skills. Gunnery {C}: His aim has gotten a bit better since the supposed end of mankind. Heavy Weapons Training {B}: He's had plenty of time to figure out how to operate most heavy weaponry. Electronics {C}: He knows a thing or too about wiring, especially for bombs. Demolitions {A}: Even in his relatively short lifetime he's got more experience on both the delivering end and receiving end of most explosives than pretty much everyone. Stunt Driving {C}: After suffering more crashes than an entire football stadium's worth of drunk motorcyclists he's learned a thing or two on how to survive his own reckless driving a bit better. Disguise {C}: His problem isn't so much the accuracy of his costumes but rather how crazy the role he's trying to sell is for a majority of the time. Puppet Craft {S+}: His talent for crafting things like puppet and doll bodies is remarkable. He's got the touch of a real doll maker in him.

None.

I. Weaponry. (Pending.) II. Vehicles and Constructs. (Pending.) III. Miscellaneous. (Pending.)

I. Biography. There once was a puppeteer, down in the dark depths of hell. He made puppets and held puppet shows for his fellow demons. He had the ability to make his puppets come alive, to act and perform for him on their own right. He was crafting one particular puppet however it did not come out right. It's eyes seemed to drift to the sides, it's wicked grin was askew. With just a head, a body and an arm made the puppeteer simply decided to discard the half made puppet, leaving it among his pile of other spare puppet parts and other materials. This puppet, despite it's unfinished state, had been kept in his hands long enough for it to have come to life however. In the darkness of the attic where it was kept this puppet spent it's birth crawling with it's one arm through the darkness. It learned to move in the state was at however, making due as it was. Then it saw the crack. An ever so slight crack in the floor boards led the puppet to see the shows that went on below. Brothers and sisters to him were all dancing and acting out plays while demons all laughed and applauded along. Seeing the puppets who were whole made this puppet realise that he was incomplete. He'd need more than just an arm if he were to join them. With determination he put together the rest of his limbs, attaching them to himself with a great deal of patchwork. A hand with only three fingers and a thumb, a glove with a patch sewn over the hole on it's back, one wooden leg which was longer than the other and a pair of brown cobbled shoes with uneven shoe laces. His efforts paled in comparison to even the discarded works of the puppeteer but he wasn't going to be daunted in his ambition. _ One day as the other puppets were acting out on stage the puppet managed to jimmy open the lock on the attic door, slipping out from the dark recesses above and rushing out into the theater, his wooden heart alight with joy. None were glad to see him. The audience was confused and annoyed by his interruption, the other puppets were surprised and shocked by his reveal and the puppeteer though surprised was ultimately ashamed. The failure he had hoped to forget was not only alive much to his surprise as he never knowingly gave the puppet that gift but it was now public knowledge. The only answer was to destroy the puppet lest it ruin his reputation. The puppet stood awaiting applause and cheers yet only received startled gasps and disgruntled grunts. He turned to see his very creator coming towards him, hammer in hand. The glint in the demon's eye was enough warning for him. He started running, the puppeteer giving chase, and fled out through the door into the dark and twisted streets of Ashanty, a small and poor town in the midst of hell. For many years the streets were what he called home. Geppetto, as he now called himself, lived a hard life, sticking to the dingy corners where other demons weren't already hiding. Anytime a powerful demon would pass through the lesser demons would scatter and he was no exception. He had to steal, beg and take whatever work anyone would give him simply to get by. He had to be sneaky since the tougher of the smaller demons frequently liked to trounce the lesser demons and scour them for belongings. His life was hard but living down the shame of his past was even harder.

I.
