Since the Dark Side seems to need a little boost and the initial Dev build doesn't seem to be needed for those boys, here's Dev Version 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Name: Devronian Arx Age: 26 Class: Sith Warrior Home Planet: Balmorra _________________ Appearance: Standing in at 6' even and weighing nearly 180 lbs, the Zabrak Dev is a rather large gentleman but not naturally imposing. With his daily, intense physical regimen, Dev is rather strong naturally for a Jedi. His skin is red, with traditional black markings upon his face, along with a ring of horns around the crown of his head. He was born bald, his genetics not allowing for the growing of hair. But these features do not much matter, given Dev always wears his helmet since his fall to the dark side. He hides every inch of his person behind his armor, creating an almost inhuman appearance (as intended). Personality: Dev in more recent years, has become a raging wildfire of emotion. Anger, fear, and pain have twisted the once level-headed Jedi Knight into a force of destruction. Dev will always be one to strike first, and ask questions later. His quickness to anger makes Dev difficult to socialize with or get close to. While often angry and impatient, Dev does maintain a level of clarity when performing simple actions, such as cooking or piloting. His piloting in high stress situations remains calculated and clear. At the same time, Dev is one of honor and tradition. He never strikes down a foe without provocation, and never kills an unarmed opponent. He also rarely backs down from a challenge, coming from the mindset that if you hit your head against a wall hard enough and long enough, it'll break eventually. History: Raised on Balmorra as the only child of two Zabrak immigrants, Dev was forced from an early age into the droid factories. He made barely any money and worked in illegal conditions, but it was what one did to help their family. He was instilled with a sense of honor and duty to his parents, though they did not share the same beliefs. They were selfish, focused on their family name being important in the galaxy. So when a Jedi Knight had somehow traced down Dev and informed his parents that the child was force sensitive, he was whisked away to Ossus and trained to be a Jedi Knight. Gasus Corin, a Zabrak Jedi Master at the time, took in Dev from the beginning and trained him. He could tell early on that Dev's connection to the force itself was not strong, but his determination and perseverance were unparalleled amongst the padawans at the time. The two made a quick connection, especially given Corin was a brilliant lightsaber duelist who taught "The Perseverance Form." Dev took to it simply, becoming a remarkable lightsaber duelist early on. Due to the slightly turbulent nature of Dev's emotions, he was rarely called upon to serve alongside his master when peace needed to be kept. To ensure the padawan did not feel out of place on these assignments, he was taught from an early age to pilot the transport shuttles and craft that they took on assignment. Everything felt clear in the cockpit of a starship for Dev, even when the galaxy around him felt was seemingly in chaos. He never truly got the chance to gain mastery over piloting, but he knows his way around and even had the opportunity to fly one or two starfighters, along with a couple freighters. Once undergoing the appropriate trials, Dev did manage to attain the status of Jedi Knight at a slightly delayed age. He had shown levels of restraint and control over the years, and was admittedly a very talented duelist. He is one of a select few Jedi who had achieved a decent mastery of both Ataru (for single combat) and Shien (for larger crowds). It was fitting, then, that he would be involved in the end of the Beast Wars. He was called in as backup, and watched the battle at Iziz and its horrors. He had never truly fought in open combat before, and the thrill of battle scared him. He enjoyed the challenge of battle, and felt he had found his calling as a warrior. Even more so, he was impressed by the raw power that even he felt in the force that day. The enemies he fought had a vigor and power behind them, and Dev was touched by the dark side. He wanted its power so that he could use it for good. But this, of course, was forbidden by the Jedi religion. And so, Dev left. He travelled to Yavin 4, guided by a dark force he barely understood. And there, he felt the dark side stronger than before. His mind was corrupted, his emotions were unbalanced. And so he found his purpose: bring justice and order to the galaxy in the shadows. For the past year, he's been a mercenary who refuses payment. He hunts down the weak the vile, and has come to blows with a Jedi or two in the process. With how twisted he's become, it wouldn't be difficult for him to be lead further down the dark side with an interesting group of killers and Sith. _________________ Equipment:

Armor/Flight Suit: Crafted by a black arms dealer on Nal Hutta, Dev's armor helps to resist blaster fire and has a built in life support system that allows him to withstand extreme temperatures, and even survive a very short time in space.
Lightsaber: Boasting a streamlined edge and having a slightly longer than average hilt, this dual-phase lightsaber was rebuilt to hold a more intimidating appearance, and was powered by a Qixoni Crystal he managed to find on the possession of a black market dealer he executed.
Detpacks: While not a fan of using explosives or "crude" weapons, Dev does find the need for explosive devices on occasion. And so, he has managed to purchase a small supply of primitive explosive devices that pack an impressive punch, and can be used for breaching or blowing out the legs of anyone who tries to get a jump on the Sith Warrior.
Skills:

Force Sensitive: While not incredibly attuned with the force, he is capable of performing basic feats with the force. His primary method of using his force sensitivity, however, is to enhance his durability, agility, and strength to perform impressive feats. His recent attunement with the dark side has only heightened this ability, making him a deadly foe for even a Jedi to handle on their own. He lacks the skill and training to choke someone out or shoot lightning from his fingers, but who needs that when you have a laser sword?
Lightsaber Duelist: Dev is a master of both the Ataru and Form V variant Shien lightsaber forms, but not the greatest duelist in either. His proficiency in both does allow him to switch between them in combat as needed. He has, on very rare occasion, even used the reverse Shien grip on his lightsaber if it means throwing an opponent off their game. His dual-phase saber and lengthened grip also allows for greater leverage in combat, while keeping the element of surprise.
Piloting: While no ace pilot, Dev knows his way around a cockpit and has managed to get his hands on a small scrapper of a freighter, allowing him to fly where he needs to and with a crew as needed. He's even raced a Swoop Bike in the Outer Rim, only ever winning one race and usually placing in 3rd when he competes.

I like this character a lot, and I do get a good enough idea of him overall. That said, before you are accepted and can post your CS - I would like just a tiny little bit more in his backstory about his time so far as a Sith Warrior - it looks very overnight change in the sheet at the moment, whereas there would definitely be more of a journey. I would also ask that he doesn't have a Dual-Phase saber right now as from what I know they're quite rare or at least hard to create. If you're going to have one, then I just ask for more description and more about the journey he had to take to get that Sith lightsaber! It just needs some more detail to round it out more and I would love to have the character - I can see that you're a great writer and I thank you for wipping this one up to try and balance the playing field.
